No answer when I answer their incoming call. When I call the number back it states that it's Capital One Visa and to input 16 digit credit card number. I put in a ***** number. I received a call today and usually when I answer they have ***g up already. However, this time I got an american speaking male. He asked for so-in-so and I explained that he had the wrong number. He asked if this was ( and he repeated my number). I said yes, it is my number and the person you are asking for used to live here years ago. He wanted me to give me her number. I said that I would take HIS name and number and nature of the call and forward it to her. He said that my number would be removed from this name in 30 days. I do find it odd though that when I answered the phone he didn't state who he was working for. He was asking for my husband's ex-wife. I should have probably gave him her number so that way they can bother her instead of bothering me:)

It's not really Capital One. It's a phishing scam. The recording tells you to say or enter your 16 digit Capital One credit card number. I gave it a bogus number, then it prompted me to enter my 9 digit social security number. A***n, I used a bogus number. I was then switched to a call center in India, where the gentleman who answered claimed to have worked for Capital One for nearly two years, but couldn't answer very simple questions about Capital One (Who is the CEO of the company, what city is the corporate headquarters located, etc).When I told him I thought this was a scam, he told me to have a nice day and ***g up on me. The whole time we were speaking, I could hear A LOT of other people talking in the background, and cell phones ringing nearly non-stop.DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION.

I s****ed getting calls on my cell from 866-929-5306, it was automated call, so I blocked it then s****ed getting calls from 866-929-5307 which I also blocked. Then I s****ed getting calls from 866-381-0453. Googled and found out Capital One or Scam. I have nothing with Capital One. Either way, these calls are getting very annoying even though I have caller ID. This practice of calling cell numbers should be monitored, fined and terminated. People paying for their air time should not have to be on guard for telemarketing calls. This really needs to stop.
