A guy called my cell and said he was calling from the State of Michigan. Like others below, he would not give me any information unless I verified my address. I laughed. Told him I haven't done business in Michigan, and to remove my number from his dialer. ****, no more calls. SCAM.

This is a collection company for the State of Michigan. If you owe back taxes to the State of Michigan, this is the company that calls you.

We've had a couple of calls from this number asking for my husband to call back. They identify themselves as "State of Michigan" and ask for his SS number. He refused, and they refused to tell him what the call supposedly was about unless he'd give SS number. He ***g up. It's got to be a scam.

I did give the last 4 of my social and they preceeded to tell me that I owe the IRS and wanted to send some papers to my new address which I would not give, she then proceeded to give me the IRS's 800 number and theirs (Michigan State Collection) with a reference #. I am sorry but isn't the IRS their own collection agency and don't they know my address everytime I file. There are some real sick f#%ks out there. DONT LET THEM GET A HOLD OF YOU I alread feel I gave them too much info.

I do not appreciatge this company calling my home. With a very demanding-barley audible message. Do not call my phone number asking for some fictious person or real person. I would say more but this will do.

got a call on the caller ID 328-700-0000 message with a "reference number" used my maiden name. When I called the number they left 866-218-7224 heard message about michigan collections etc. The gentleman wanted me to verify the last 4 of my social. I did not. The call went no further.

There was a message from 866-218-7224 asking for my husband by name. When I called the number back I spoke with a "Mr. Webster". I was told that he could only discuss it with my husband. The company is supposedly Michigan Accounts Receivable Collections Systems. Yet when I googled the number this came up. I find it "coincidental" that the other day my husband took a call that asked for him by name and they asked him for his last 4 digits of his social security number....It makes me nervous, don't want to mess with our credit, but I believe it to be a scam any suggestions?
