This number calls and calls constantly. When I answer the call I say "Hello", they say "Hello" and I say "Hello" a***n before they **** up or they just **** up as soon as I say "Hello" the first time. When I do not answer they never leave a message. Apparently I've got it easy compared to others' experiences. There are a lot of sites with horrible complaints about this number. It 's highly irritating just reading about these experiences that aren't even mine. It's such a shame that they've been at this for so long and haven't been stopped.

Just answer the phone or call back the number to tell them to remove the phone number from the system. Do***ent date and time you call back and request number to be removed. Collection agencies have the right to call if its the correct contact for the debtor. if its not your bill and they have your ssn# or u notice it on your credit report, take the proper steps of writing a dispute in writing. ignoring it is the worst you can do. If your daughter is deceased , the agency needs a ***** cert to get rid of the debt. if you dont want to take the time to fax or send copy of the cert, then you will have to put up with the calls. they can remove the number at your request since you have no legal responsibilty toward the debt. but remember alot of these old accounts get transfered to one agency to the next. they spend the cash to do a trace for a number and you s**** it all over a***n. remember, dont just say dont call my number and **** up and expect calls to stop. agencies dont have to remove number if your not willing to **** a few mins to verify if the person they are looking for lives there anymore. Be nice and normal.

I also get these ****** calls to speak to Rhonda. She "has important information for me" - yeah right! I have never picked up the phone when they call. They continually call and annoy me. I have written them up at Do Not Call Registry and yet I still get calls from them - almost every day. Ridiculous. My husband pays all his bills on time. We had Sprint for quite awhile (the only phone company that would give service in our little area of the world) and we paid our bills on time every single month. My husband is fanatical about paying his bills the second they come in the door.We do not owe Sprint anything. We never had an account with MCI. I have no idea why they are annoying us. My husband is convinced that they are trying to collect on someone with his name but NOT him. We have had arguments with other collection agencies about another man with his name. When they ask us questions about this, they never get answers that are what they are looking for. They asked me if my husband was born in Baltimore. No he wasn't. Is his mom's name (whatever it was)? No. They have the wrong person and they have harrassed us for years. My husband is a good man - pays his bills the second they come in (doesn't even get out of his work clothes to look at the mail, sits on the computer looking at his accounts). He is fanatical, as I've said. I wish they would stop calling.

These people call all times of the day and night. Someone named Jarad, or Gary, or whatever is rude and states in a very threatning way that I "had better not ignore this call" and "it's in my best interest to call back immediately" First, I would never call anyone back that speaks in this manner and tone. Second, If I owed anything, which I don't, I certainly would not deal with this company, I'd go back to the original vendor or lendor. These people are nothing short of legalized mafioso.

Here is their company info. Send them a certified letter and include a copy of The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in all your correspondence.Receivables Performance Management (RPM Collection Agency)1930 22nd St SEBothell, Washington, 98021U.S.A.Toll Free: 866-212-7408Phone: 425-984-6247Fax: 425-412-2575The law requires you to write a letter to the collector telling them to stop calling you or that you are refusing to pay the debt. Be sure to send it certified mail, requesting a signature for receipt. You cannot make this request via FAX, email, or telephone. It must be done in a written letter.Once a debt collector receives your letter, they can only contact you to: * Acknowledge receipt of your request letter; or * To advise you of specific legal action they plan to take a***nst you to collect the debt.If you continue to receive calls, you can take further steps to stop a creditor from harassing you, or you may even be able to sue a debt collector. How to File a Complaint A***nst a Collection AgencyTo report an alleged violation of your rights and file a complaint a***nst a debt collector, s**** by contacting your state’s attorney general. If your state has its own laws (in addition to federal debt collection laws) governing collection procedures, your attorney general’s office will know. You can also contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and file a complaint. The FTC does not resolve problems; it records complaints, and looks for patterns and trends about a particular business. To file a complaint with the FTC about a debt collector’s practices, write to: * Federal Trade Commission * Consumer Response Center * 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW * Washington, DC 20580You can also file a complaint online in , or En Español, or, call the FTC’s toll-free helpline at 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357); TTY: 1-866-653-4261.Can I Sue a Debt Collector or Collection Agency?Yes, federal law permits individuals, and groups of individuals to sue collection agencies. But you must sue within one year of any alleged violation of your rights. If you do win, you can only recover damages suffered, plus an additional amount of up to $1,000. Your award may also include recovering court costs and attorneys fees.In class action suit filed by a group of people, the group may recover up to one percent of the collection agency’s worth, or, $500,000, whichever is less.Debt collectors are generally not too fearful of being sued because of the financial limits on what you can get back. It may also be difficult to prove that your rights were violated, and the burden of proof will be on you.It is a good idea to let a debt collector that is harassing you know that you are aware of all your rights, including the right to sue. But it is never a good idea to threaten to sue unless you really intend to do so.Because you are already in debt, a collection agency may not even take the threat seriously, confident that you cannot afford an attorney to represent you in cour**** is important that you keep very detailed records of the dates and times the collector has called. Write down the name, and if possible, the phone number from where the call came from. Also keep notes on what was said. This information is absolutely critical to proving a case of harassment in court. If you are unable to resolve your problems with the collection agency, and they continue to harass you, or, their activities have already caused you harm, talk to an attorney before threatening to sue.

Received a call from 410-202-0027 RECEIVABLESPERF on caller ID. A message is left from Rhonda stating "I have important information for you. Please call me at work at 866-212-7408" end of message. The message is not addressed to anyone and she does not state whom she works for. I have received several calls from this number and from 703-291-9039 with same caller ID. I did not call her because I am not ****** to fall for this. My number is on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST and I have reported both numbers to them.

This number is left on my voicemail by an automated caller listing this number to call back. They call my work 2-6 times a day. I don't want to call them back and give them my name or my number but there is so****ing definintely strange about this. They don't leave a company name or message regarding what they want - only this message to call Rhonda. Weird.

Not a call, but a letter to my deceased daughter. When I called them back they said I would have to call MCI to find out what this is all about. I called MCI and they have no records older than 2 years. So I call RPM back and am told this is a bill from the year 2000. They can stick it up where the sun don't shine because my daughter never had an account with MCI.
