The caller ID initially displayed “Texas Workforce Commission.” After the call ended, it changed to “Ft. Worth,” and it now shows “Brian Commission.” When I asked the woman, who sounded Indian and appeared to have approximately a three-second delay or buffering in her responses, why she was calling using the Texas Workforce Commission PBX, she abruptly hung up. The changing caller-ID information and the caller’s response raised concerns about the legitimacy of the call.
