So I was trying to watch a high school baseball game on the East Coast call And I hit OK and I got sent to a site that said one dollar and you can watch for the day. This is from the NFHS site which is legit, obviously this was not playing. I did not get to watch and I called Capital One immediately. I was then instructed to call the companies, and cancel that “subscription” … which I did, and then I s****ed getting calls from “capital One“ but it was listed as unknown, so I answered the phone today, the guys harassing me that I need to cooperate with him because there’s been charges on my card, so I asked to speak to a supervisor but I already knew they were frauds, and then when I questioned them they ***g up. My friend works in India and they were in India, and he works on telephone fraud from there and they are trying to bust these huge calling centers. So just an FYI to everyone… I fixed it with Capital One gave them the number, canceled the card. ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

He did have some information, seemingly, on some of my credit cards. He gave his name as Jason Cross, with a call back phone number as 786-855-1203, ext 193. I have not returned the call, as of yet. A Capital One imposter saying someone tried to use my card over the phone. Common M.O. I told the person before giving any info I would call Capital One to verify their claim. I called the number on the back of the card. There is no problem with my card according to Capital One.

CALL IS PHISHING FOR CAPITAL ONE ACCOUNTS. This is not Capital One. I received call, no message. When I call back, they want account number. I press option to talk to someone because I think this is odd fraud and get same "technical difficulties" message. I contacted Capital One who I do actually have an account with because I know there is no reason for them to be contacting me. THEY CONFIRMED THEY DID NOT TRY TO CALL ME ABOUT MY ACCOUNT. Capital One said if you ever get a call from their offices asking for account information, their policy is, they expect the customer to **** up and call them back on a phone number that's shown on your valid statement or actual credit card. They note all calls to the account and already have your account number when calling you so there is no need to ask for it. DON'T BOTHER TO CALL BACK AND DON'T GIVE THIS NUMBER ANY INFO. FILE A POLICE REPORT!!

I work for capital one credit cards. This is a general customer service number. You can varify it with the back of your credit card. No messages will be left on solicitation calls. If we send you a card and you do not call to activate it as instructed, we Will call to make sure you recieved the card or if its lost in the mail. its to protect you. If you owe us money, We will call whenever. Legally we have that right! Flat out if you cant pay your bill you shouldnt have borrowed the money! you own it..pay it, or shut up! If there are fraud concerns we will leave a message. And if you call us expect to give info because your name alone is not enough! get over it america!

I received this call twice, so far this week. It asks for my 16 digit Capital One number, but I didn't trust it. I called the number on the back of my Capital One card and told them that I've been receiving a call from them but was unsure why, as my account is in good standing. She told me that she could see that a telemarketer was calling me, and that I could just ignore the calls. Ignoring the calls isn't good enough, for me, so I asked to be taken off of the telemarketer's list. She did so in a matter of minutes, but also informed me that it may take several weeks for the request to go through and that I may still receive calls from this telemarketer until it does.

I pay all my bills so I totaly knew it was a scam. Besides ceditors have my address if its very important they will mail me so****ing legit. Hilarious.If Capital One is calling you several times, the likelihood is that your account is in collections, OR it's a sales call (letting you know about a current offer), and in that case they don't leave messages. If you're not sure, **** up and call Capital One yourself, and give them the info they ask for to access your account, because YOU called them!

I received a call from this number. The marketer was trying to sell me Iden***y Theft Protection Services from Capital One. Nothing led me to beleive it was a scam. The number on the back is on the old credit cards, but apparently the new credit cards have another number. Checked the Corporate Website, this number is legit.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Got two calls today - i missed the first but answered the second. Lady said she was from CapOne, and wanted to make sure I received the card they mailed. I asked why they mailed me a card, she said because the old one was "probably expired". I asked what she meant by probably - couldn't they check that in the computer? She said she couldn't couldn't access that on her computer. I said that I would call CapOne myself to check on it. She asked me if I had the phone number, and I said I could get it myself. The phone number on the caller ID is actually the number for CapOne...but I did call the actual Customer Service for CapOne immediately, and they told me that ***ody has called me from there and that they have not sent out a new card. I don't know how those people got my name, but THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFO TO THESE PEOPLE!!!!

I got a call from this number 4 times in one day and they finally left a message on the last phone call so I called them back. It was capitol one and they said that I had a pending account. I had them cancel the account because I have never applied for anything through capitol one. Now they have been calling me everyday and not leaving a voicemail.
