Calling about an entry form I filled out at the Concord Girls Day Out Holiday Bazaar (which I attended last December 2019) they have a gift card for me from $250 - up to $1500. The event was in Concord, NC

Not a spam call. They call selected entries to all the home shows and car shows and such that they promote. Also pizza hut,kfc,hip hop fish..ect. you fill it out for a gift card and vacation. If you get selected they call you.

a young woman who said is amy said she has papa johns gift cards for me to claim....she called 3 times, once every hour, until 902pm

filled out a contest entry at papa johns ....so annoying now! call waaaayyy too many times.

This place must be very busy giving away all of these vacations.     The same number called my cellphone.   She said I signed up at some buffet.   First of all, I don't go to buffets.    Second, I never give out my cellphone and I don't fill out anything that looks like a timeshare scam.Now, I have to figure out how to block the number.

These people keep calliing , and are rude.  Telling me to "put my wife on the phone right now" .    I told them I couldn't.  When they asked why, I told them she was gone.    THey wanted a call back time, so I gave an honest one.   Next time they told me a***n to put my wife on the phone.   Not asked me, TOLD me, to put her on the phone right now.   I told them they need a course in communications, and they would get ****her by ASKING instead of DEMANDING.  They will be calling back today, I guarantee.    Glad I found the info on this site, I don't know if I will play them or just cuss them out.   Very rude telemarketer, that's for sure.

This is a call to take a trip to *****nutten resort. They pay for your stay and give you extra money on a Visa gift card, if you agree to preview their resort. This is definitely legitimate folks. Please do your homework before responding. This company apparently owns several resorts, and has an "A" rating with the Better Business Bureau. *****nutten is in the Shenandoah Valley of ******ia by the way.

These people called me last month. I gave them a $75 deposit on my credit card for a stay at *****nutten. I had filled a form out at Subway. When we were at the resort, they gave us a $50 Subway gift card and a $175 Visa gift card. And our stay didn't cost us a thing. This is truly an incredible resort.

Got this call tonight. 757-821-0166. Asked for my wife on a message and said they would call back in 2 hours. They did, but about a half hour later than they said they would. I had already checked out the number on the Net and thought it might be a scam. My wife had filled out an entry for a contest at a roadside stop on the way back from Va. Beach 2 weeks ago. She had had luck winning her parents a trip before - a legit trip. This sounds like it is either a scam or a timeshare offer - neither of which is good - both are very shady deals anyway. (If you want to buy a timeshare, do it in your own time like you would get anything else - with research and YOU making the decisions) Anyway, when they called back I answered. Told me they needed my wife on the phone, it was company policy to have both husband and wife on the phone at the same time. I decided to have fun with her. My wife was sitting in the chair beside me. I told her my wife was off fighting tigers in Austrailia. She seemed surprised, but kept talking. I continued to string her along, saying that my wife was a missionary in Greenpeace and that she was working in different countries fighting wild animals (Ha - so****ing Greenpeace would never do) The woman kept pushing me, asking when my wife would be home. I told her not for a while because she had to go to the North Pole and Africa and probably Antarctica too. But, I told her, a vacation would be great since my wife usually slept in a sleeping bag on the ground and had to watch out for scorpions and sometimes duckbilled platypi. The woman somehow kept going, saying she would have to get a manager to call us back because of the unusual cir***stances. My wife and I were both almost rolling on the floor laughing. I then proceeded to tell her that, if she couldn't tell, I knew this was a scam. She denied it, saying it was not. I told her "Yes, it is, and do not call me ever a***n, please." She s****ed toi say so****ing a***n about having a manager call us back, but I ***g up on her.We'll see if they try to call back. Serves them right, the idiots. Maybe it gave the girl at the call center some entertainment for the evening, at least. I give her credit for somehow playing along with such a straight face. I really hope that the call was being "monitored for training purposes." HeHe. Oh, and I tried to call back, but the recording just kept saying that they were not there, leave a message. I am REALLY tempted to leave a message asking for Yoda or Han Solo and say that they have won a $125 gift card for a week's vacation in the sewers of New York or in the desert on Tattooine.See how they like it. HA!

Got the call tonight. My husband had signed up for a free vacation at this resort.  Of course, they called us, offered us the free stay at *****nutten and $125 Visa card, with the Disney Orlando vacation.  Because we both have tracphones, she couldn't do the deal with us, so****ing about needing 3 way calling.  Needless to say, when she calls back we will not be answering.  Thanks for everyone reporting this - I cannot afford a $20,000 timeshare and if I could, I would buy one in Tahiti or Maui, or St. Thomas or anywhere but SW ******ia. Sorry.

Signed up for a contest at the **** Bouron and BBQ festival and a month later was called by this number; told I'd won a 2 night stay at *****nutten and a trip to Orlando and $175 Visa gift card; transfered me to my "travel agent" and wanted credit info from me over the phone. Needless to say I ***g up and will never signup for a "free" contest a***n - had no idea it was some timeshare ****.It seems legit, but not at all my cup of tea.

This respond is a SCAM.  Must be from the crooks themselves.

Received the call from 757-821-0166.Definitely a scam. Got the call. Never gave out the cell that the call was on. They also quoted personal information that was highly inappropriate. Clearly, a bad scam and sullies the name of Papa John's and Masanutten.I played it up a bit though and had some fun...lots of whoops that I had won.Sad though.

I agreee with you..people really need to be aware of what they are signing for. I feel the same as the guy above...same situation and discussion.I will gladly accept 200 back for giving them 75 now. I've already done a ton of research on this company and they are legit. It's not that hard to find that kind of info out...on the internet.You have know concept of money if you don't take them up on this deal.I'll be enjoying there free room soon.

Called at 6:31PM 12-13-2009.  Told me I'd won a 3-day 2-night vacation for two to some five-star ******ia resort I'd never heard of, along with an Orlando trip and a $125 VISA gift card.All I did is fill out a card at a NJ computer show to win a Best Buy card.Since I couldn't come up with someone to take on the trip, they offered to call back at 7:30 - boy will I read them the riot act.  And if they interrupt the Eagles game tonight, it's on!

For us it was an entry form with no information just a woman telling us that it was for a door prize at a home show. There was nothing to read other then name, address, and phone number. That was it.They called me, and since I put my name and my wife's cell phone. They said that they told me that I needed to have both of on the line. So they demanded (rudely) that we put her on the line on another cell phone thus burning twice our minutes. When I offered a speaker phone (since the sell phones have that option they re-stated that it must by two lines. I said I have speaker phone and they ***g up on me.GHood company or not, good experiences or not, there is no good cause to burn my cell phone minutes (no land line)and to hand up on me when I offer a way for both to be on the line.

I received a call from these kind people letting me know my entry form from Papa Johns was selected.  They offered my family a 125.00 visa card, a $25.00 gift certificate back to papa johns..and 2 complimentary vacations...and it's all totally complimentary...@ first I was skeptical, because nothing in life is free..but i let them further explain..and I realize that it's not free..it's complimentary..all I had to do is put a refundable 75.00 deposit down, and I get 2 vacations...and I got everything in WRITING...how is that a scam...PEOPLE have to realize what they are FILLING OUT before doing so...everything IS STATED right on the form...Thanks *****nutten for allowing my family to partake in this.  your company is by far not a scam..and is very professional...

I am grateful to the people @ *****nutten Resort....I received a call from Jeremy and Anthony.  They are 2 of the most enthusiastic and professional representatives there.  They advised me of everything I needed to know, and everything I was getting.  At first I was skeptical to give my credit card over the phone without seeing anything in writing.  So, they gave me a confirmaion email showing that they were indeed legit.  People, you filled out the entry form at all of these business's that has been around for quite a long time.  Do you really think that they would jeopardaize their business to help out a company that has a "scam" going with them.  I think not.  I am looking forward to going on my 2 complimentary vacations...to *****nutten, and next year to Orlando.  I am very glad I filled out the entry form @ Papa John Pizza...I read the back of the entry form...I think all you **********'s that are trying to taint this company should read before you sign...Didn't you learn that when you were younger???  Thanks Jeremy and Anthony for helping my family have a well deserved mini vacation.

Mary and Angela set it up so I went up there for the day. which I did They showed me around it is BEAUTIFUL! After the tour I got two vouchers one to go back and stay at *****nutten and another for florida. I also got my 75 back plus 125. It is so worth. Thnx *****nutten! See you soon! All you people filled so****ing out. Its the deal of a lifetime. I never would have been able to take a vacation otherwise.

these people have been calling my wife every night for the past 2 weeks. I finally s****ed yelling at them to stop calling, as soon as I did that they proceeded to call back 5 times and **** up. i called back from my phone and told the lady to remove the phone number from their list and she said she couldn't do it.

i registered myself and reistered. i filled one out at farmfresh grocery store and received $25 dollars back 2 farmfrash, 2 vacations, and 200 dollars. all i had 2 pay was 75 dollars and they give that back 2 u when u get there! my kids enjoyed the waterpark and me and my husband got 2 get some quality time in! if the call u answer the way the economy is going know this is th best offer u will ever get 4 just 90 min. of your time!!!

I filled out an entry form at Pizza Hut. I was called and told my entry form was SELECTED! I got my husband on the phone. Then I got transfered to someone else. They did ask for the deposit. We gave them our credit info. Got two paid vacations, $125 dollars, and got my $75 back. And had a great time. They made us take a tour to try and sell timeshare, we did not buy, but are planning on going back. It was worth it. had the time of our lives, they have a great water park.

I'm glad I read this, because some woman left me a voice mail earlier and said she was going to call at 8:30.  I filled out a contest paper at the AT&T National for a $125 gift card to ****s Sporting Goods.  I figured it was like a timeshare thing, but whatever.  Thanks for the heads-up!

I received a few calls several days after signing up for a contest at T***der in the Valley. They called and informed me that I was the winner of a 3 day 2 night trip to *****nutten Resort, a $125 visa card and a 4 day 3 night stay at a Disney Hotel in Orlando. I was very skeptical. they called for a few days. (I am not a lucky person to win drawings) when I finally made contact, they informed me that my husband had to be present to claim the prize. So, we were on two different phones. the people, "Cheryl" and "Matt", asked us several questions about vacationing and how much it cost per night to stay...after 15 min of talking, they said they needed my credit card to reserve the room ($75 deposit). I didn't want to give it, my husband did though. So we did receive a confirmation number and email;  I was sick... So I looked the resort up, seemed legit... I guess they are trying to sell timeshares. now even more sick after reading, I am going to my bank tomorrow to c****e my account. I will never sign up a***n either!

Recieved second call, they wanted $75.   After I said no this is a scam she was nasty and ***g up.

Recieved call did not answer. called back, woman said she was from *****nutten Resort.  She said the people calling me about a promotion I signed up for that I had won just stepped out and I tould her I did not sign up for any promotion.  She needs to  tell them to never call my number a***n.  She asked for my number and I said no.She stated without the number she could not take me off the list.  So I said fine let them call back and explain.  So I will wait for the next call.

Recvd the same phone call and she left a message stating I had won a visa gift card. I called teh # back and it's some sort of resort scam where they want your money and claim to give you items upon arrival if you complete teh tours and such. Problem is I did enter a drawing at the speccified event that she mentioned so needless to say I will never enter another drawing of any kind.

My call was the same as jzzy1 except that I did not mess with her as much.  She said I entered a drawing at a golf tournament and won.  I haven't been to a golf tournament in nearly three years.

I don't know how they got my name and number since the number is listed under someone else's name, but they kept calling and calling last night. I couldn't even understand the woman since she barely spoke English. If you can't speak English, don't call me... especially with a scam. And I especially don't appreciate late night phone calls when I'm trying to put a toddler to bed. They better hope they don't s**** a***n tonight or they'll hear some pretty nasty words from my end. I don't have time for this kind of ****.

This is a scam. They offer an expense paid vacation to a resort in ******a. they said i won a contest, but I had to put down $75. no legit contest required purchase or deposit. They claim to give a $125 when you arrive, plus the $75 deposit. The woman i was speaking to claimed it was a $200 gift (125 + 75). i dont understand how the $75 dollars is a gift if I am giving it to them and then they are giving it back. i explained this but she was unable to comprehend how it was not really a gift of $200. i played along and annoyed the***** out of her. she asked about my previous travel experience. i told her i've never stayed in a hotel. she asked about my last vacation. i told her i was camping in a tent. she asked how much the camp grounds cost, i told her it was more like squating on people's vacant property as a hobo/drifter. she didnt understand this. she asked for credit card information for the $75 dollar deposit. i told her that i have no credit cards or bank accounts. she asked why. i told her that i didnt trust the banks and i keep my money in a box under my bed. "why ever would you do that?" - she was dumbfounded. anyways, eventually she realized i was f*cking with her and she ***g up on me. pretty hilarious.
