This is Progressive Insurances automatic fax.It could be that someone accidentally entered your number or purposely through the websites Fax interface :)The ma****e calls every couple of minutes, then it thankfully gave up after I s****ed beeping back at it.

Got several annoying calls from this number. Just beeping like someone is sending a fax. Finally called it back and got message that Progressive tried to contact me.I don't do business with them so it must have been a mistake. I called the 800-progressive number and got very helpful person (pushed ****on for insurance quote figuring it would lead quickly to real person) and she said they would take care of removing my number. She was very polite and apologized for inconvenience. Maybe Progressive will see this for the bad PR it generates and fix problem

The same calls were made to me. They are coming from a fax number and are on automatic redial. I found out the company was Qwest Corporation whose headquarters are in Denver, CO. They are a telephone communications company (ironic huh?). I plan to call them in the morning. Why don't we ALL call them and complain. See how they like getting numberous unwanted calls. Here is the information: Qwest Corporation, 1801 Calif St., Ste. 2950, Denver, CO 80202-2658. It lists a contact name of: Richard C. Notebaert. Little old **** will be hearing from me . . . Hope this helps!!

My cell phone was called 5 times this morning, 2 times from 719-432-1995 and 3 times from 440-395-4631. I wasn't around and no voicemail was left for any of the 5 calls.Based on awesome's similar report, it's safe to****ume those 2 numbers are related in some way.

I got one, too, this morning at 9 am on a Sa****ay. Same beeping noise. But, since I filed a Progressive claim yes****ay and faxed them some required info, I****ume that this is an automated fax ma****e call-back acknowledgment. I'll bet that's why this is happening. Someone at Progressive should turn this feature OFF.

This number calls over and over. If picked up, a ma****e just beeps and beeps. I wonder if some ***** put a fax ma****e on redial and walked away. I called the phone company but because it's "outside our area" they are impotent. I've just taken the phone off the hook and will leave it there for a few hours, see what happens. We're on the national do not call list, if that's worth noting.

This number left two messages on my ma****e, consisting entirely of beeps. Today, the phone rang three or four times, and each time I picked it up, I got the beeps a***n.
