A person using the number 656-200-7579 expressed interest in buying an RV sight unseen, raising suspicions of a potential scam. The individual, presenting themselves as using the email '[email protected],' proposed purchasing the RV through a check. The scam likely involves sending a fraudulent check, urging the seller to deposit it, and then requesting a wire transfer of funds to a third party, such as an inspector or moving company. The check eventually bounces, resulting in a financial loss for the seller.

Person gave name as Robert. Wants to buy RV, sight unseen. Suspect a scam.

In additions to texts on this number, an****ociated E-Mail (that uses texts) "[email protected]" proposed a purchase of my RV but it was a scam. The name given was Robert Grover, but that is an imposter name. The scam was: they send you a check that you deposit and persuade you to wire transfer (a portion of the check value) to a third party (an inspector / moving company, etc.), then the original check bounces and you are out the funds that went out by wire transfer.
