Got a call from the BBB of Long Beach, she told me she received several inquiries about my business from consumers and wanted to verify information. I think she made up the story to sell a membership. She **** up before I could finish my sentence. That's not the way to do a "Better Business."

Told me he had several calls enquiring about my business from consumers (not possible - he is lying).People need to know that the BBB do some good, but it is a private business, that makes it's money from companies that pay them membership fees.Their whole point of the "scam" call is to sign up members - beware!!!

Called my office and told our dispatcher that she was calling from the BBB and it was regarding our business record. She was very serious and made it sound like a serious matter. My dispatcher called me and said that the BBB was trying to call me and the caller said it was important. I left my meeting and called. After the rude lady answered she told me that she was calling to see if we wanted to join the Orange County BBB. I gave her an earfull about how they go about getting members and she really wanted to argue. The BBB is a joke with bad business practices.
