This is the second, "you've won a free cruise!" phone call I've received in three weeks. The last one was on Oct 20 and was from 480-422-3063. On October 19th, I had purchased a Royal Caribbean Cruise for my parents as a gift, so I'm wondering if these calls are somehow connected. I called Royal Caribbean about it, and they said that they sell bulk cruise packages to third parties, and those companies might be giving them away as promo packages. What they're doing with my personal cell phone number is another question entirely. But according to this website's report, it seems as though these calls are completely random....? What a bizarre coincidence!

Definitely a phishing attack. They know that Wells Fargo cards begin with 4868- (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Bank_Identification_Numbers#Visa_.2848.2A.2A.2A.2A.29) and are hoping that they get enough people that bank with WF (e.g. I do) to call in and give them account information. If you are here, hopefully you already know, but always call in via a well known number for any financial transactions, don't let them call you, or direct you to an unusual number.

Just rec'd call on my cell phone. Can't figure out how they got this number, since I never give it out or use it on forms. I didn't answer it, since I didn't recognize the number. Looked it up and found this site. Don't know anyone out in OR...I'm on the east coast. Thanks to w***ver s****ed this site

Also received call at this number just a moment ago. I was receiving calls from another number but discovered it to be a number****ociated with JobsRadar. If anyone has filled out online job applications recently, be prepared to receive more calls like this. Sidenote, I am so glad there are websites like this to share information on unknown callers.

I have never received a call like this one. I have my cell # listed on the no call list. I cannot believe they do this. It is an automated message saying that I have won a free trip to the Ba***** if I answer a few questions. Of course I ***g up.

I received a text from this 541-228-4278 saying "WELLS FARGO ALERT: Your CARD s****ing with 4868 has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at: 206-427-9512." I then received a phone call (which I did not answer) that the caller id showed only "618". I do not have a Wells Fargo card...

They called my cell phone with a recorded sales pitch for a cruise. I immediately ***g up. Everyone needs to call them back throughout the day, ***dreds and ***dred of us, and restrict their use of their own calling service. The do not call lists are ineffective.

Received the same call and went through the process for a free cruise.. Then when you get to the end.. They want you to pay $118 in "taxes" and if you choose not to pay right then they take you off and don't call a***n

got a txt from this number indicating "my CARD s****ing with 4868 has been deactivated. Please contanct us@ 206-427-9512" When yu call that number, the voice mail prompts to you to enter your account number.... Sound very su****ious. Can't talk to anyone @ either number.

Got a text message from this number claiming to be Wells Fargo, stating that my card with them had been deactivated and that I needed to call 360-334-2701. I don't even bank with Wells Fargo, so I did not respond.
