I received numerous unanswered calls from this number, mainly between 8 & 9pm. When my husband picked up the guy on the other end asked for me by name (I have an unlisted number so I'm not sure how he got my information) and ***g up abruptly when my husband said I wasn't available. He called a***n today and I answered, and he claimed to be "Rick" from the Connecticut Post offering a free trial of the newspaper subscription. He asked what address to send it to and I declined, and he ***g up. 518 isn't even a CT area code, and when I call the number back I get a "do not disturb" message. My guess is that he's a scammer.

I answered this call and the man stated that he was calling for the Albany Times Union. What I want to know is how he got my name nd number since I have a non-published ***nd spanking new telephone number! I told him in no uncertain terms to get my name and number off of his list! He rudely ***g up without replying that he would. The caller ID, however, gace the calling name as '0.'

I s****ed getting calls from this phone number, 518-937-9166, the day after my house was broken into/maybe a coincidence, but seems pretty weird. I get calls late at night, early on a Sunday morning, etc......I think it is some disturbed WACKO who has no life and no one to actually call. Coming on here to see all these people getting these calls helped me to feel less stressed about the calls, obviously I'm not being targeted or stalked!

We got a new phone line installed but never hooked up an actual phone. This number shows up on our caller id all the time, they must have gotten this number from the phone book? When we called it back from another line it was a do not disturb phone line that did not accept incoming calls.

I too received these calls and later found out that this is pay phone on Eagle Street Albany NY as per Verizon. That is why it does not accept incoming calls.
