the company that provides service to these "U.S, Government employees" is in fact an American company called Century Link (formerly Qwest Corporation). their phone number is 1-800-244-1111. I called them and spoke to one of their customer service reps asking if they knew what was going on. they said they were unaware, but when I brought up the fact that an American company allowing middle eastern people to pose as American Government employees and scam American people out of money to fund God-knows-what organizations, possibly even anti-American ********* groups the guy seemed to freak out a bit. ( I guess using the words "funding ********* groups" on a recorded line sets off some alarms LOL) and said to call the security department and gave me a number to a satellite phone (yeah, like I wasn't going to check before calling) and when I asked why he was giving me a number to a satellite phone he got all f****ered and ***g up. Now, knowing that the good people of the American Government *sarcasm* love listening for key words during phone conversations and internet use I hope this may get their attention. after all, middle eastern callers posing as Americans (that work for the government, no less) taking American money to fund *gasp* ********* groups (yeah, right. but possible lol) might get the attention needed to stop these scammers from harassing American citizens. *fingers crossed*

My friend got a call from this number and said he was from the government and he was giving her $9,000 we ***g up but he called back an then said we worked for the government and he's like 'oh yeah? What department?' And we laughed and he said so****ing we couldn't understand. We tried telling him that he wasn't true and ***g up. But he called a***n and asked if she was single and she said 'no I'm a *******' and he said it didn't matter cause we couldn't get married and asked to talk to me and told me he loved me. I told him he was being unprofessional but he continued and told me what he looked liked and that we should live together. It was really creepy. He said his name was Marc I think but his accent was too thick.

Someone with a foreign "Arab-like" accent called and said I was selected to receive $9000+ in US Government grants because I hadn't filed bankruptcy un past 6 months, paid my taxes and haven't been arrested soIl was a good citizen. He said I could receive the $ 1 of 3 ways. 1- banking account, 2- credit/debit card, 3-western union cash. I asked him if there was ant unto he could mail me and he said are that it would be a couple of days. He had all of my information.

They said that I had won a trip to some resort in Washington State based on a recent raffle entry I had made. They just needed my credit card information as "insurance" to reserve rooms but****ured me it was all free and they would have me choose my dates with the resort very shortly. I told her I didnt have my credit card on me and if she could call me back in the evening. I gave her another telemarketer number and closed the call.

This number has been calling me for days now when I answered it was a woman with an Indian or ****stan accent. Saying that I would get an amount of over $9000.00. I told her to not ever call me a***n & disconnected the call. Then I pulled up this site & was not really surprised by what I found here. I tried calling this number and was told it had been disconnected. How can this be if they continue to call people?

After reading this, I s****ed to wonder, this all s****ed right after I downloaded an app for my iPhone ... JustUnfollow. My twitter account eventually directs to a business and phone number. Which is the number called repeatedly. So, Anyone else have a connection/coorelation to the app JustUnfollow or are active on twitter. if so, this might be the connection. Farmed off of twitter.

A guy called with Indian accent, called me by my name after that i askd who it was he **** up, i was curious so i called back the number was disconnected then an hour later i get a phone call a***n from the same number i answered and no one said anything. I am blocking this number hoping they have no other information other then my name

I have been receiving calls every 15 to 20 minutes daily now for a week. I never answer, thinking they will take a hint. They never leave a message. I consider this harassment and I will be blocking this number. So frustrating that w***ver this is ****s up my phone all day. I have even received calls in the middle of the night from this number.

constantly calls and when answer no one there. I wish I could talk with them and BS them. When I get calls from people like this I ask random ****. What did you have for dinner ? Do you like pig ***ins ? Do you have a Cat ? Do you walk to school or take your lunch. LOL

This guy with an indian accent just called and said my name and said "give me $200." " Do you not have $200 to give me?" I am getting fed up with this number calling me. As soon as I said I can sue you for this phone call he ***g up on me. When I tried calling back the number says it was disconnected.

I get a call from this number almost every day. Every time they say I've been selected to receive a government grant of $9000. Yeah right! And the only way to receive it is to provide either my bank account info or credit card info. I basically cursed the guy out and he returned fire. lol. Needless to say this is 100% a SCAM.

Comes up as Aberdeen, Wa. Talked to "Kevins" (short for Rajesh Koothrappali),says I have been chosen to receive $9849 grants money's from the U.S. government. As long as I use it for "legal" purposes. I told him I would use it as seed money's to s**** a medical marijuana greenhouse. He ***g up on me!

Guy called in a Indian accent, I told him to stop calling and take me off what ever call list he has me on. He then said F*** You!! and said he will call me every second and every minute of the day! so I blocked him! haha good try dude go scam someone else!

Received a call from Aberdeen, WA (1-360-533-7449) stating I’ve been selected to recipient of a government grant. The reason stated was playing my taxes on time and being a good citizen - LOL. At least they’re honest. I had specifically asked if this was a scam and he replied, “Yes” - ROF****.

Multiple calls throughout the day while trying to sleep (I work night shift) 1 voicemail included nothing but background noise. Tried to answer a few minutes ago, with no one on the other end of the line. Seeing all of the comments on this page, they will be blocked shortly...
