My place of business just got a sales call from this same phone number. After I explained to the guy that we are not generally interested in sales calls, and that the only thing he could do would be to leave a message, he proceeded to try and pick a fight with me about how much money I make. What was even the point of that? After that, if we ever are interested in doing business with a third party collection agency, it won't be this one. Not with an uppity at***ude like that.

This is a third party debt collector from Vancouver, WA named Sonny Smith. He calls from an unlisted number from a house on a cul-de-sac in Vancouver. He has been calling my 78 year old husband daily threatening to add fees to an RSM McGladrey bill that is 5 years old. This bill is from a little tiny company my husband once owned. RSM McGladrey was charging $185 hour for bookkeeping in this 3 person company and my husband pro*****d the bill. Finally RSM wrote off the bill and now this guy is calling out of the blue. He will add his fees of $2500 to the bill and who knows what else. Call your lawyer and get this guy out of business. Under the fair credit collection act collectors cannot threaten you and if you ask them to stop calling you and give them the name of your lawyer they must deal with the lawyer.
