A guy with an odd hard accent called this morning saying he was with American Cash Rewards/Awards and it is was a division of Powerball. He asked if I was going to be home at my home address tomorrow because I will be receiving a check from through the USPS and then said he would call me back because he has to notify his team in Anchorage who is delivering the package. Approximately 10 minutes later I got a second call from him and he now says it’s UPS making the delivery and he’s been in contact with them and they have confirmed they will be a delivery at my residence and then the phone was breaking up so we ***g up and he’s gonna call me back. What a crock. Well if he’s using US Postal Service, they don’t call to make sure you’re home, they just make a delivery attempt; so he’s full of smoke. Plus we don’t have Powerball or any national lottery here. There’s no way they would have my address they just pulled my number out of a hat, off the Internet, or so****ing. I’m waiting to see if they call back and try to do a money scam, which from several sites I found that is their normal operation and people have lost THOUSANDS!
