236 Area Code

This numbers seems to text random people and ask why they blocked them. Not sure what the motivation is.

Random text asking me to take a walk and chat, this says the number is in Canada and I'm in the US, no way this person is texting someone in the US legitimately to go for a walk, they would know by the number that it's not the correct number of who they are trying to text in Canada, it appears to be a scammer checking for a response just to see if this is a valid working # to add to a list of numbers they are selling, I did not respond. The text from this number was very suspicious. The text came through as, "Why aren't my calls getting through to you? Did you block me?" And, when I asked who it was, they answered, "It's Lianna, we met, do you remember?" I do not know this person at all. This seems to be a scam text. By Anonymous

I received a text from this number saying "Hello, I'm cleaning up my phone contacts and would like to confirm the owner of this number." I deleted the text and reported it as spam. By Anonymous
