Drive Financial and Santandar are the same company as far as I’m concerned. Santandar is out of Spain and bought quite of few auto loans as well as mine from CitiFinancial and other lenders. There have been many complaints on their customer service. I had a paid and was included in my contract insurance for deferred payments in case I should need one for medical reasons. I even called them when I had to c****e phone numbers and answer all their calls, which in just in the last month. They act as if I’m 6 months behind. I was told not to make the other half of my payment that is due tomorrow. They do not care, they do not read, they do not want to work with you, even when you can pay weekly which was fine with CitiFinancial, they just call. Today or tomorrow, I’ll be signing papers for a refinance thru a local credit union. Better interest rate and half the payment for the length of time and no prepay penalty. This company shouldn’t be in anything PR, times have been tough for all of us, and their tactic is “kick ‘em hard while they’re down” instead of compromise. I have one year left as if I’m not going to pay them so they can have my car? I’m not ******. Thanks for letting me vent. Oh there was one nice person who I did talk to and he even waived the $10.95 fee for paying over the phone.

No, they did not use you as a reference. This is the finance company using an illegal tactic of calling anyone near you to try to get you to deliver a message to the person they want to collect from. They have called me 4 times now, even though all times I told them I was on the do not call list, trying to get hold of a man who supposedly lives 8 blocks down from me and whom I do not know. I refuse to be their errand boy.

1. . You can look up the number on your caller ID at any of the following sites: whocalled.us, whocallsme.com and 800notes.com. If it is, in fact, a debt-collection agency and you won't or can't pay the debt, proceed to Step 2. 2 Call back the debt-collection agency or creditor at the number given in its message. If it leaves no message, pick up when it next calls. Request a "written collections notice sent via U.S. Mail." It has five business days from the date of the phone call to comply. If it calls during this period (your phone records will do***ent the call), you may sue in federal court for up to $1,000 plus legal fees for violating the Federal Debt Collection Practice Act (FDCPA). If it sends you the written collections notice, the debt collector can begin calls after a 30-day waiting period expires. If the calls begin a***n, go to Step 3. 3 Locate a contact address on the written collections notice you received. Don't use a P.O. box; you need a street address. Sometimes it's deliberately buried in the fine print of the notice. 4 Write to the contact address for proof of its iden***y (since it's asking you to send money). Ask for proof of the agency's right to collect debt in your own state, not the state in which the agency is located. Ask for the debt amount. Ask for an explanation of any discrepancies you find in debt amounts the agency and creditor report. Ask for the original lender's name and address, and how the agency acquired the debt. 5 Request that the agency not contact you by phone---only by mail. From the date of the return receipt forward, you can sue it for up to $1,000 (a***n) for violating the FDCPA, the debt-collection act. 6 Send the letter "certified mail with return receipt" at the post office and keep the receipt. 7Hire a lawyer to sue for the FDCPA violations if calls continue after the date the agency signs the return receipt. List each violation for the lawyer, to ****mize the statutory damages award. Don't let legal fees discourage you from getting a lawyer, since they are covered in damages if you win.Read more: How to Stop Telephone Collection Harassment | eHow.com http://www.ehow.com/how_6121915_stop-telephon ... l#ixzz14jTUrQ4s

Called my work number twice so far today. When I pick up before 2nd or 3d ring, they **** up before I say anything.I have no loans. But ****ing up seems a pretty silly way to con money out of somebody.

They just keep calling and ****ing up
(214) 614-3380
Thank you sooooo much JJ (Jen) for that information. I have a loan through these people and they are horrible. I pay my payment on time every month but they continue to call me at all times of the day...they call my work number and **** up and they even gave me late fee's on payments that were paid ON TIME! I am now up to $80.00 in late fees and I am not paying them as this is their problem for not having their stuff together...this is the worst loan company out there. I am also going to report them to the better buisness bureau

I am going to file a lawsuit for 'Harrassment' a***nst Drive Financial & Santander Corp... I get 5 harassment calls a day and they even call me once or twice after 9 p.m. at night... They simply don't care and it is time for anyone who reads this blog to take this problem seriously and take appropriate action.(Please see below and I will tell you what need to do)... First, if you are late on a payment, they don't care as your telephone number is installed into a 'predictive dialing' computer and someone on the other end who doesn't give a **** just makes repeat calls all day long not caring who is on the other line... That is why these imbeciles don't say anything when you pick up the phone on several occasions...It would be a professional manner for these companies to call you 'once' and than a followup call weekly... This is the professional way to handle late payments...However, these deplorable people even if arrangements are made for a future payment will harrass you with several types of calls and messages, and even calls that no one is on the other end...They do this because 'harrassment calls' pay and they have found it gets payments in quicker... The problem is that you and I don't do anything about it... Here is what you need to do right NOW !Your first step is to log onto a website called the 'National Do Not Call Registry' - here is the site, copy and paste it in your web subject line: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspxRegister your name and number and file the complaint with notes... do this on every call that is harrassing... If you informed them NOT to call you a***n, as I have many times, than there is a detailed place to put your message...Do this everyday if need be... Only takes one minute...The government will respond to these guys I promise !The second thing is to write a 'letter of complaint' to the Texas Attorney General, Mr. Greg Abbottaddress: Office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division PO Box 12548 Austin, TX 78711-2548 Be specific as to the 'harrassment' they have caused you...The third thing is to copy the letter to your home state Attorney General's office... My home state is Floirda, address:Attorney General's Office, Mr. Bill McCollumOffice of Attorney GeneralState of FloridaThe Capitol PL-01Tallahassee, FL 32399-1050'I have stated my 'opinions' above about the charactor of these companies, and the lack of professional and ethical courtesies...I am en***led by law to state my opinions...There is a 'fine' line between bill collecting and 'harrassment'...I believe that the state of Texas will soon fine the daylights out of these companies, or revoke their licenses... Heads will roll... The federal government will fine them as well for violation of the federal law...I hope this helps, and do not let them get away with it by doing nothing...

This is Drive Financial. Yes they are a PAIN! So since they continue to call my cell at all hours, I simply took action by putting them on my REJECT list (most cell phones have this feature). Here are is a list of thier known numbers: 214-237-3670469-385-5260214-540-2035214-614-3380214-237-3516

It is Drive Financial. Someone used me as a referal and the company is not smart enough to tell from my voicemail that I am not that person.
(214) 614-3380
I used to live in Texas so I answered bcs I thought it might be someone I know. Person said a Calvin Williams had listed me as a reference and they were calling to verify. Of course, I do not know this person...and am now wondering if Drive Financial wanted to verify if I was at this number for other reasons. I regret I answered yes when questioned if I was..... I do not like to give out personal information unless it is a company I contact.
(214) 614-3380
Someone used me a reference apparently and they are calling me everyday. It is Drive Financial in reference to someone car loan. I wish they would have called me before giving this person a loan.
(214) 614-3380
this # is for the collections dept. with Drive Finanacial. Drive is a company that finances cars for people with poor credit. someone must have listed you as a reference.they are probably trying to collect on a late payment.
