This Number belongs to a company that provides inventory control software. (That is why they were contacting me anyway).As far as a number not being reachable, with the implementation of Voice over IP numbers can be s****ed (faked) rather easily. Although even years ago anyone with control of their own PBX on a PRI T1 circuit could s**** their phone number as the sending digits are programmed into the phone switch.I selected Telemarkter as its the closest option (it was a sales call) although it was a return on a requested quote.

***g up before I could say anything - I called back and message said Disconnected. How can this be? If someone is stealing phone service, wouldn't the telephone companies be interested?I think this is a national security issue. Maybe we need to "converge" all phone service under the MaBells - they knew how to operate telephone services.
