Scam stating that there is an arrest warrant issued for failure to pay taxes and they leave another number to return their call. DO NOT SEND MONEY OR RETURN THEIR CALL. The call originates in ****stan or India and they have gathered over $20 million from unsuspecting victims.
(202) 239-0131 - February 19th, 2016 8:57pm
They called to tell me that an arrest warrant has been issued for me and my property was going to be seized. I told them to come and get me.
(202) 239-0131 - August 29th, 2014 1:31pm
"Joseph Brown" with a strong Indian/****stani accent called my work number saying the call was for Mark Stan (only the first syllable of my last name leaving off the last 2 syllables). He was calling from the Audit & Commission Department of the IRS and that there are "illegal allegations" a***nst me, that the file C-2012561 would be x-barred in the next 24 hours and that I "will be arrested by the local cops" if I didn't respond..
(202) 239-0131 - August 21st, 2014 6:15pm
A guy with a lot of call center type background noise, and an extremely strong Indian accent, tried to tell me the IRS has a lawsuit a***nst me. I told him he was a liar and a scammer and he is not to call me a***n. He stated "this is not a scam", but I pressed 9 and then ***g up. Ignore these idiots!

I did as well, like stated below, foreign accent calling from what sounds like a call center / boiler room, threatening my arrest the next day for failing to pay taxes, and I was to call immediately. Totally bogus. If the IRS has an issue with anyone, they don't call, they send letters.
(202) 239-0131 - September 10th, 2014 7:33pm
Called and gave me a fake case #. Threatened me that if I did not call back to resolve within the next 24hrs I would be arrested by the local 'cops'. I called the IRS and they confirmed I owe nothing therefore this is a scam. be careful!!
(202) 239-0131 - July 30th, 2014 6:48pm
Pretended to be from IRS audit commission. Gave fake case # and threatened arrest by local police within 24 hours if payment not made immediately over the phone.

obviously a bogus caller referencing IRS Audit. Wanting to receive money for IRS payment vouchers to pay off IRS debt.
