Caller said they were from Dish Network and needed to reprogram or repoint my Dish receiver. They asked for the receiver ID Number and at that point I said I did not trust that they were from Dish Network and ***g up.
I then contacted Dish Network and they verified that they did NOT call me and that it most probably was a scam

10-18-23 2:38 p.m. CST. Got a call from 986/204-2082 marked Spam Risk. A man with a heavy accent (lots of voices in the background) demanded my full name. I told him he should know my name since he was calling me. He then said my name (mispronounced). He said he was with US Customs and Border Control and demanded to know if I was (my name). He wanted information from me, but I just laughed and told him this is a scam, and he should get a real job.
