Received an automated call, from a fraud department , asking if I had made a large purchase on my Walmart credit card. The number to call back to is a landline.
I see fraud written all over this number. Do not call or give them any information.
I do not have a Walmart credit card any longer.
An unknown entry was made on my phone calendar stating that an automatic charge would me made for $499.99 in USD in 12 hours with this number as a HELP line to call. I know of no such charge nor did I make this calendar entry and my phone is never left alone.
I got an email listing this number to call regarding a charge to an apple account that I did not make, think it is probably a spam or phishing email, I don't know how to verify the information,
Email Phishing/Spammer pretending to be HSBC reporting a su****ious charge (not an account holder). Obvious scammer wanting a call on a s****ed number. Likely just another scammer from Nigeria, India, ****a...or Minnesota.
Scam- They say an Antivirus program was auto-renewed and your Paypal was charged. Call # to dispute - Do Not do it-
they want your cc number to ‘refund’ the charge
