S****ing the number ... Caller ID showed AUTO INSURANCE ... very foreign sounding voice. She asked for my wife by her nick name and last name on a line that is not registered with our insurance company. She could not identify our insurance company, kept asking for my wife, I told her we are on the DNC list and that this is a fraud call ... she argued with me and eventually said my insurance agent would call with all the do***ent papers and then I would believe. I asked her who the agent is and she ***g up.

I have ordered Proof Sets from these folks so I guess we have a "relationship". I don't understand why they don't identify themselves. If you order coins via the US Mint, this firm probably fulfilled your order.

I've gotten a call (on cell phone) from this number for the last three weeks on a Wednesday afternoon at approximately the same time. I have all my phone numbers on the national do-not-call list, but apparently that just doesn't matter to this group. No doubt this is a computer generated call. I liked the suggestion from the individual who programmed in "Wrong Number" for this one...good idea!

This number has called my cell phone about 4 times in the past two weeks, and periodically over the last 4 years! A few years ago, the calls first s****ed. I ***uely recall a man's voice on my voice mail asking someone to call him back. I remember getting the impression it was someone like a contractor trying to reach a former employer, business partner or someone who owed them money, and they clearly****umed they were leaving a message at the right number. For some reason, I didn't feel comfortable returning the initial repeat calls to tell them "you've got the wrong number, stop wasting your time!" I suspected perhaps they were a telemarketer trying to flush-out a callback, or a spurned contractor trying to collect an old debt from someone who deliberately gave them a wrong number. Some telemarketers relentlessly mine cell phone lists for trivia about cell phone numbers. When someone answers, they report such trivia as, "woman's voice answered" or "appears like fax or computer number modem answered." They sell these databases containing seemingly insignificant trivia to larger telemarketer companies that use tiny contractors to avoid****ential liability (such as state do not call list issues). These companies collate databases with trivia to profile cell phone users. To make a long story short, this was the first long-term number programmed into my cell phone's memory by the name of "Wrong Number"! When I see these words on my LCD screen, I simply don't answer the phone! After almost 4 years with periodic waves of calls from this caller ID number, I decided to search the web and behold! Someone else gets a call on December 9, 2008, just two days ago! I wonder how many people haven't reported this number? Who is this person calling? A telemarketer or just a spurned contractor trying to collect an old personal debt? Don'tcha love a mystery? ;-)

When I answered the guy asked for my husband by his first name only. When I told him that I only took messages, he said he would call later. I told him that I only took messages so he needed to leave one or I was going to report him. He ***g up.
