Look up "FDCPA" Fair Debt Collection Practice Act, get the company's information (name, address, phone number) and get a attorney. If at all possible, record the conversation somehow. Unfortunately though, most people do not know how/what to use to record telephone calls these days, but if they're constantly receiving calls from them, find a way to record them. Years ago, you could buy a suction cup based microphone that you could put on the handset of a telephone, and run it to a tape recorder. This is extremely effective to provide proof of illegal acts of harassment by a bill collector, or simply by someone claiming to be.

If they call you after 9pm or before 8am, they are in violation of the FDCPA. Also, if you tell them that they are calling your work and you request they not call, they are required to stop calling you there. If you tell them it's a cell phone, they are required to stop calling, they are not allowed to incur the debtor more debt by calling and racking up minutes on cell phones. They called my cell phone last night at 10:30pm, I told the foreign lady she was in viloation, she immediately ***g up on me, never identified who she was or who she was calling from, i called back twice trying to figure out who it was, got a foreign guy & couldn't understand him to save my life, and told him not to call my cell phone a***n, and a***n they are in violation of the law. If they call me a***n, I'm reporting them. Just fyi to everyone, they are not allowed to call cell phones & work numbers once notified. I agree with those of you who feel this is a scam. My contract was also up when i left TMobile, and that was in June and it's now October

These people call me at all hours of the day and evening, even on Sundays. They call several times a day. Also from 952-540-2996. I am paying TMobile directly, and if Tmobile says they can't accept it, that it's going through a collection agency, well I guess they don't want my money then? If they won't take my money then ***** them. i got behind and such is life, no need to stalk me about it I already am well aware of what I owe them.

This is a TMobile collector. I cancelled my TMobile account and paid up my bills. T Mobile is claiming I still owe for a month of service, which I don't. I told a guy there that I did not care and to go ahead an report the collection to my creditors. Needless to say, they keep on calling.

TMobile collection agency. My mom signed for a cell phone for her granddaughter who ran up a bill. At this time my mom is under physicans care since 1-2008. She is no condition to handle the abusive and threats from the callers. I have tried to reason with them, but try to make the family responsible for the bill. They live on $532 a month, her medicine is now $800+ a month. My ***her had a ****** - is paralzed on his right side plus unable to hear. He too has been told a warrant has been issued for him and my mom. Mom has told them if and when she returns to work, she will pay what she can a***n. I have explained the same. She has been so upset a few times, EMS had to be called and she rushed to the emergency room. The debt is $600 what can we do?

It is not the family's responsibility. If a power of attorney is****igned to someone in the family, that person can offer as little as $5 per month and you can send in money orders- no matter what they say. They have to accept the payments. If they pass away- god forbid- the collection agency can be sent a letter by an attorney stating that there is no money left in the estate- the bill then gets written off, account closed.If any collection agency says 'jail', 'arrest warrant or 'police' get the company name, date, time and collector name. This is one of the worst violations. They will be fined and owe the consumer money. If they ever say sue or attorney- they had better be ready to back it up- they can only say that if their company really plans to sue- it can't just be a far off possibility. Report these voilations at ftc.gov

My parents 76 and 80 yrs old are old and in bad health. My mom signed for her granddaughter to have a cell. She ran it up and now has skipped. When mom was working she tried to pay what she could. The agency has told them they were going to jail, a warrant had been issued for their arrest, taking everything they have and they will be living in the streets. It upset them so, mom was taken to the emergency room. I have tried to deal with them, and have been advised it is now the families responsiblity. Dad had a ****** and is paralzed plus can't hear. Mom is now under physcians care and not able to work. They only have social security which is $500 per month. Her medicine is $800 per month. What are my options.

Looking at other complaints for this number -Sue said it was TMoblie collections - My husband and I have never had a TMoblie phone and the only other occupant of my house is my dog Cody and he has never owned a cell phone. The calls occur very early in the morning and very late at night - please stop these calls.

From resear****g the number, I've found out that this is number is a debt collector for T-Mobile. I just want to let everyone know that I don't have T-Mobile anymore. I got out of my contract and was told that my account was up to date and that I won't get another bill. That was in July and now it October. I really think its a scam. I'm not going to pay.

This is T-mobile collections. Since they don't have my new number with a new carrier, they call my work phone number no less than 30 times per day. I have a display and I can see them calling. I'm under Physcian care and in bad health. My husband has had a ****** and para***ed on right side. We have been threatened with warrants and jail. At this time I am unable to pay the debt but if and when I go back to the work, I will try to resume. At this time we live off social secuirty of $532 per month.
