My brother has ******phrenia and this call was from his conservator. Too bad I didn't get her direct phone number as I need to call her back. I just****umed that the number she was calling from was the contact number. I pray I am able to work this out.

to all the ***ks out there saying that "this number shows up on ur caller I.d. when blah blah blah calls" eat **** die slow and go to*****! why would u be looking up a familiar number?! weird I recently lost all my **** in riverside the other day. smh.

I just got a call from this number it was very weird because of the tone in the woman's voice besides no one calls me by my full name of course I said was not available ! when I try to call back it is a non existing number BEWARE

i got a call from this number and they said there were god and to give him all my money or i was going to***** !!!! oh well i guess***** it is .

Every time this numbers calls I always miss the call. But when I call back the number us not in service.

Hello. I just got a call from this number a few minutes ago. It is a recorded message. I got worried when it said it was from the Riv Superior Court, but when it gave me a weird number and a strange website, I knew it was a scam. To calm myself, I googled info about this number. Thanks to all your comments, I get to learn more about this and to take care of myself. Apparently, these people have used this particular number for multiple purposes: iden***y theft and money for instance. Even though I know that not everyone bothers to write and tell about this issue, I noticed that the comments are posted in between small gap of time. Now, I don't understand why the real Riverside County Sheriff or any officer hasn't taken any action to stop this annoying people from calling us, the victims. A***n, thank you all for informing me.PS: Actually, this is the third website that I have checked on. I am just repeating my words here, trying to spread them and to create awareness.

this number is a generic number for the county of riverside that shows up on caller ID. I recieved a call the other day from Child Support and this number showed up on caller ID. Today I recieved a call for a job interview and the same number showed up. The whole county of riverside uses these numbers to protect themselves from call backs. When my mom worked for DCSS in riverside county this number would also show up when she called me from a work phone.

I too got a call today, never been to Riverside CA..said it was urgent and I owed an overdue traffic violation!  DON'T THINK SO!!  HAHA!  Not returning the call for sure! SCAMMERS!

I just missed a call today from this number on my cell phone but no message was left.  My son had an accident back in November. I was thinking it was a call from a sheriff's or so****ing like that.  Thanks to the comments I have read I will not be tricked by this call. I might have believed what I was going to be told on the phone and given information to this scammer.   I'll make sure I do not answer a call from this number.

The same number has called me saying that it was a nº to call through cheaper...

John Powers does exist. He is employed by Riverside Sheriff's. He is a great person. However, this phone number can be displayed to caller ID when anybody from the County of Riverside telephones you. There are several phone numbers the display.

received a call, no message?  curious to see who it was from so I looked up on google and saw the notes.  hmmmm?  I owe no-one, so if it's from a debt collector, it's definitely a scam.

SOMEONE CALLED ME A FEW DAYS AGO TRYING TO SAY I OWED THEM MONEY BECAUSE THEY HAD DEPOSITED $300 INTO MY ACCOUNT FROM INSTA CASH. AND THEY TRIED TO TAKE THE PAYMENT OUT, AND IT WAS DECLINED!  THEN THEY TRIED TO PRESSURE ME TO FAXING THEM MY CREDIT CARD NUMB. AND DRI LISC. IMMEDIATELY OR THEY WERE FILING CRIMINAL AND A CIVIL LAW SUIT.  THEY SAID I BORROWED $300 3 WKS AGO AND NOW I OWE $987.00 .THESE PEOPLE CLAIMED THEY WERE FROM ANDERSON LAW, THE MAN'S AME WAS ALEX ROGERS, AND THE FEMALE WAS LISA FERNANDEZ.  I ASKED THEM WHO WHIRED THEM THEY SAID THEY DIDNT KNOW THEY WORKED FOR OVER 300 CASH AGENCIES.  THEN THEY EMAILED ME A BOGUS CONTRACT, WITH NO ADDRESS, PHONE, DATES, AND TWO DIFFERENT FIGURES OWED ON IT.  THEN THEY S**** CALLING MY JOB.  THEY SEEM TO HAVE ALL MY INFORMATION, EVEN MY BANK ACCOUNT NUMB. I CALLED CHECKNGO, A WELL KNOW CASH AGENCY.  THEY SAID BE WARE OF THESE PEOPLE IT IS A SCAM!  I THEN LOOKED AT BLOGS ON THE INTERNET.  AND THEN I TOLD THEM TO NEVER CALL ME A***N.  NOW THEY ARE STILL CALLING MY JOB, AND THEY ARE LEAVING THE RIVERSIDE SUPERIOR COURT WEBSITE FOR COLLECTIONS, BUT NO CASE NUMB. TO VERIFY ANYTHING.  THEN THE NUMBER ON MY CALLER ID IS 955-000. MOST OF THE TIME THEY SOUND INDIAN.  EXCEPT FOR THE MALE RECORDED VOICE THAT LEFT A MESSAGE.  I BEIEVE THIS IS A SCAM, AND I HAVE CONTACTED THE POLICE, AND THE GENERAL ATTORNEYS OFFICE.  THEY SEEM TO BE REAL PERSISTANT.  THEY ARE A BIG SCAM, AND ITS A SHAME THEY HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO BUT TRY AND STEAL FROM PEOPLE!
