This number is CREDIT CARD SCAMMERS AND IDEN***Y THIEVES. They are not Verizon Wireless, not even affiliated with them. I know this because they CALLED ME and Verizon ONLY TEXTS. I also know this because our cell phone bill is in my HUSBAND'S NAME and they used my MAIDEN NAME. They asked if I would like to take care of my "remaining balance of $20-so****ing" (I don't remember the exact amount they said). We always pay our Verizon bill IN FULL and have not been late in quite some time.

I was called on my At&T wireless phone about a past due I had with Verizon. Funny thing is that I've never had any service with Verizon. i called back and they say their closed. What is the deal with these people? I guess they had a wrong phone number but they were really threatening. When I told the women I have never done busines with them she got scarey. This women told me that I could run but I ******* hide. That I should live in fear. Sounds like a threat to me. I should probabbl;y call 911 but the number that showed up was Verizon so I'm pretty sure i'm reletively safe ( liability). What is with these people??????

Actually, I just got off the phone with Verizon (I called the number that was provided in their Contact Us page), and the lady verified that the phone number was legit, and that it was the collections department. Going forward, if you are a Verizon user and get one of these calls, I would suggest calling the phone number provided on their website to verify the status of your account and/or to pay off your unpaid balance. = )

Caller, usually comes on with a rude tone, asking for a payment. They say they keep calling my spouse, who is the primary on the account. However, he has received no calls from verizon. Just a text with payment amount info, which is current. Probably a scammer trying to get credit card info.
