Posted on Craigslist a home in a town that I just moved to for rent. When I tried to call them, they said they were unable to receive calls at this time.. well ******* how would you know I was trying to call you if you were unable to receive calls?! I looked into it from the very beginning because I have always been sketched out about craigslist. So when I asked for their name... no response. I work at a college and people from the college knew the man who owned the home. Older white male. The emails and text messages I received read sounding if from someone of Asian decent. I looked into it more and found the number traced back to California. It is pathetic how people try to steal from others and are so deceitful.

They called, we didn't answer, they left no message. No one should ever answer these numbers for ANY reason. If you have callerID, let it go to your answering ma****e. They won't do that. That does 2 things. 1) It frustrates them. 2) They will not know if they've reached a working number, and may stop calling. Once you answer the call, they know they've reached a working (live) number.

Caller ID says "CARD SERVICES" a long running known scam. My call blocker (CallClerk) has that caller name on its blacklist so it never rang through.
