Texted me "Hey" out of the blue. I assumed it was a potential new client or a wrong number. A person said they were looking for me at an event they were having, claiming their name was Shirley, and they were with someone named Amy. I advised this looked like a wrong number and the area code was not near me, she apologized. I said it was not an issue. They they said if was in the area (where I do actually live but my phone number is not local to that area) I they would invite me to an event. I said, That was kind, and went on about my day. They then wrote back to say they had never met people this way and asked for my name, age, and location. RED FLAGS.
