They said they had a property for rent in Medford NJ. It was advertised on-line. They asked for an application fee of $100. I figured out it was a scam by the way they were writing emails. They never refunded my fee.

They listed a home for rent and asked for a “fully refundable application fee”. BUT WOULD NOT AGREE TO SHOW ME THE PROPERTY until after submitting the deposit to “avoid wasting anyone’s time.” I did not pay the deposit but they also did not refund my application fee as promised. They have ignored my messages ever since I declined to pay a deposit on a sight-unseen property.
