I got a call from them too saying the exact same thing and they knew all of my information from my address and social. That the loan service provider wanted to take legal action. I know ppl whom have had outstanding loans for years and nothing like that happens. They also said they sent many letters and wanted to set up a debit card for payment and I told them that I didn't have one on me. ***!
