Possible work from home as a personal****istant scam. Says her name is Susan Smereka. Has****ociate named Joshua Cannon w/email address [email protected] They requested that I sent money to a Stacie Decker. If you google Susan Smereka an artist comes up, however I think this person is using Susan's name. "Susan emailed me saying she received my resume for a personal****istant and after a couple of emails she hired me. I was promised she was sending all computer equipment to work from home and payment with bonus pay. The next day I received a check for $4,137.23 by FedEx. There was a not in it from Joshua telling me to deposit it into my bank account and send him a picture of the receipt so he knew I received it. I did so. The next day Susan requested that I send $950 to Stacie Decker from my bank account from the money from that check and do so by adding Zelle to my bank account. This is when red flags came up for me. I called my bank and had it reported to their fraud department.
