"SSI" called my cell phone (Android), and some young male voice immediately asked me is this.....?(my name). I recently got mail from SSI (social security), so I thought the call was legit, and foolishly said "yes, this is". He s****s tripping over his words and doesn't introduce where he is from or why he is calling- he right went to asking me- "have you shopped at ...... In the past 2 weeks?" I got confused, foolishly said "yes", a***n, but quickly realized this was not "kosher". I asked him- "what is this about? Why are you calling me? He said, nervously- "we are conducting a survey....". I immediately said "i cannot speak right now", and ended the call. I can't believe my shopping habits are being tracked and i am getting scam calls! This is the first time i have ever received an unsolicited call on my cell phone. ****ed.

I got a call today too. On my cell which is on the do not call registry as well. When i asked who the caller was he finally said he was from "FSI" but it could just as easily have been SSI. i agree, it's infuriating. I blocked them. Lately i have been inundated with strange calls not from 800. I will usually never pick up if i don't know who is calling. so annoyed.

I got a call today at 6:30 pm. The male said that he was not trying to sell me anything and wouldn't ask me to buy anything. he didn't identify his company but when i asked he said he was bla bla from "FSI". whatever that is. At that point i said i didn't want any of what he was pushing and to never call me a***n EVER. I agree, it's slick to use**** as otherwise i would have never picked up. I've been deluged - on my CELL! - lately with these **** calls.

Second call today from an unknown**** area code. The prev comment is right, they think they are slick using a**** area code...I have a**** cell and have blocked all their other prefixes using a good Android app so now they're gonna call using MY area code. Most likely this is a switch number they are using. I don't know how they got my number but I'm on the do not call reg and it infuriates me. This time the caller I.D. said "Ssi" spelled exactly like that. Of course they leave no message when I do not answer. Idiots.

They think they are slick using a**** number instead of a 1800 number.
(917) 563-4062
They ***g up. I think according the the above comment it's a survey/junk mail so I won't pick up any more.
