Called my cell at 7:15 in the morning, left a message with my business name stating I needed to call their office back. The FTB would never call my cell phone without sending a letter first, especially before business hours, and the call back number is not listed as legit with the FTB website of valid numbers either. Got a call from this number. Man's voice. Rude. Would not identify himself. Only said that he wanted some personal information from us by fax by a certain date, and said all we needed to put on the fax was 'Long', and that he would get it. Fax # is 916-843-0525. Can anyone tell me who this is? We know that he called from a California FTB number, but we don't know who this man is, or his authority to ask for this information.
