Unsolicited call to out of state parents offering bail services for the release of their son who had already arranged bail and release with a local, valid bail bondsman. First call left urgent "family issue" message. Number owner then repeated the bail bondsman service offer when parents called back to ask what was happening, which validates this number exists and was used for this purpose.. Local bondsman agency that had already provided valid bail indicates it is likely a " fraud" call from an individual that monitors the local Sheriff Activity Docket which is in the public domain, seeking to represent themselves as an agent that can arrange local bail for remote (in this case Florida) family members that are out of state and totally unaware of the incident report in California. The report search volume on this number in this report indicates this is not likely an isolated event. We have the initial voicemail as evidence.
