I called Citi directly regarding an alleged transaction on my call from a fraud detection overnight. The voice mail that was left from this number seems to have been an automated response from having locked my card overnight on the mobile app for the same alert. So, it was a redundant follow-up voicemail call from Citi. I had already spoken to a representative from my phone call.

This number is legitimate. After receiving a call from this # about su****ious activities on my Macy's American Express card I became su****ious so I called Macy's Customer Service (the phone # on the back of the card). Macy's Customer Service said it was NOT the phone # to their fraud department, so I asked them for the direct phone number to their fraud department. I called the number Macy's Customer Service gave me to their fraud department and the fraud department verified this number to be legitimate. This number handles Citibank, Macy's, Bloomingdale's and American Express partners. So the Macy's Customer Service person was incorrect.
