Called about a fraudulent check being cashed on our business account. She knew the note in the memo section of the check, knew the check number and knew the last four digits of the bank account number. Seemed to know too much about the check. I thought the scammer was the one who was supposedly trying to cash the check but it was actually the caller.

Female left a message on both my husband's and my cell phones's voice mail pretending to be a Bank of America rep. She said someone was trying to cash a check from my account. Disturbingly, the only phone number on our checks is our home number.
