May 1, 2023 someone taped a note to my door Labeled Confidential Urgent Notice: Please contact your mortgage servicer immediately at 888 818 6032. This is a scam. That number is not related to my mortgage company.

Car warranty scam. I actually got a letter, not a phone call, but the letter said to call that number and was signed by Steve Garrett, probably a fake name. Neither the letter nor the envelope had a return address. No legitimate company operates that way.
