A lady called and left me a message from this number and said she needed to speak with me about my payment arrangements on my student loans, ASAP. She sounded legit, she even had an agent ID number and a reference number for when I called back. However, I am 54 years old with no college whatsoever, so this is a telemarketer, but a very official sounding one. Don't be fooled!

I got a voice mail from this number claiming to be Social Security. They were checking for illicit activity using my SS number. When I called the number, a computer answered and said I had reached "Swee****er". Earlier, I had the same kind of call from (888) 815-1702. When I called that number, I got a message the number had been disconnected because it had been used for scams.
