Most of these come with postage-paid return envelopes, right? It costs them more than the regular 37 cents postage 'IF' and when they receive them back. It costs them nothing if you throw them away! The postage was around 50 cents before the last increase and it is according to the weight. In that case, why not get rid of some of your other junk mail and put it in these cool little, postage-paid return envelopes. One of Andy Rooney's (60 minutes) ideas. Send an ad for your local chimney cleaner to American Express. Send a pizza coupon to Citibank. If you didn't get anything else that day, then just send them their blank application back! these people have been calling me for 2 straight weeks!!! i always picked up and everytime i said*****o they would **** up! today they called me a***n and i picked up and didn't say anything and they said my name and my address and the last four digits of my debit card number then they said don't worry there's nothing wrong with your debit card!!! I just brought a car from the same place my mom brought her car and she didn't get a call from anyone!!! I think they only call cell phone numbers!!! They tried to charged my card $1.90 to send me so****ing!!! I immediately called my bank and told them make sure no one charges anything to my account! I kept telling them i wasn't interested and they just kept talking!!! Then after i got off the phone with them 5 mins later a lady calls me back and ask me to verify my address! they repeated my address the first time they called me!! then i told her i didn't want the $25 dollar gift card and she got an at***ude and said well since your fortunate! all you have to do is say give it away and i will give it to someone else!! I wanted to call her a name soooo bad but i just ***g up the phone. i am going to continue to investigate these people!!

Caller ID # 866-530-3502 This IS a SCAM! These people call me constantly. Normally, I will refuse to answer numbers that I do not recognize as I feel that they will leave a message if it is important. That is not the case with these people. They call me at least six times per day (the lowest count thus far), so today I decided to answer the call. A lady asked to speak with me, would not give her company name, attempted to verify my iden***y by stating the last four digits of my current debit card number (which I found to be unsettling), and an address I have not lived at in over three years. She offered to send me a $25 AMEX gift card as a reward for a "recent purchase" on their website, with a $1.95 processing fee of course. When I questioned her about the "recent purchase", she ***g up on me. Further, any attempts to call the number back end up in automatic disconnection. **Research on other websites lists this as common practice from this "business". Common complaints cite Ron Popeil Showtime knife set orders, as well as Raven Media's "Grant Search****istant" and "Free Grant Writing Software". Oddly, I have neither of these, so the list must be extensive.

After reading all the entries here about this company having your card number and personal information, I called my bank to cancel my card. In speaking with the bank, they told me by simply answering your phone, they can charge your card. A new scam, I guess. They are ****ing my cell phone up! I don't usually answer toll free numbers on my cell, it's usually a telemarketer. I am registered on do not call list. I always Google the number, just to see who it was calling. That's how I saw all the entries about this company having your information. I called the one company that I've made an online purchase with and told them I was going to report them for selling my information. They said they don't do that. I now have a message in with someone higher up in the company in case they have someone selling information illegally. After cancelling my card, I received another call from the telemarketer. I answered this time (since my card no longer valid) and after saying*****o three times, they ***g up on me. I did report this number to the do not call registry complaint department.

No message left and I was in a meeting at the time so could not answer. However, it is definately a scam as the same number called me this morning. The girl talked extremely fast about giving me an american express gift card for some supposed purchase I recently made in the last year as a reward. I asked about the purchase and they said they could not give me that information then continued on. They had an address for me that I haven't lived at in over 2 years .... for a purchase I made in the past year according to them. They eventually said they wanted to charge me $1.99 for a trial for so****ing and that I could cancel and not be charged more. I told the woman on the line no at that point but she kept trying to talk while I was telling her I did not want it. The disturbing part is, they were referencing a valid credit card I do have that had an unrecognized charge appear on it last week. The card has not been used in about a month though.

I am in Va, I got a lcall from them tonight. The mroe I refused to have anything sent to me and refused charges to be made to my credit card, the more the man on the nother end wanted to argue and literally YELL at me, calling me dumb, telling me he understands perfectly clear that the problem is not him the proble,m is me because I do not want his peoduct. I thought he was from my credit card company. He thanked me for my recent purchase with card with the ending numbers ----. A company representative called me at 10:35am last Thursday morning (04/03/2008) claiming to be a security enforcer from my local bank or the from VISA. He "established" his bona fides by asking me to confirm the last four digits of my VISA debit card and then proceeded to tell me what they were. Once he hook me, he proceeded to try and interest me in an exhaustive list of goods and services. I finally ***g up on him because he wouldn't stop selling. Upon reflection, the important things about the call was his knowing the last four digits of my ATM card and outrightly violating the national do not call register. This company deserves to be notified and pay a stiff penalty in order to stop them from calling do not call registeredpersons. persons.

I happened to be wat****g the News one night were the investigation team in Atlanta received a tip about a fraudulent telemarketing scheme. Everything said here is just like what I've experienced the last week, plus what happened in the news. Yes, they do have the last 4 digits of your card and your mailing address. They are very fast talkers, but the idea is far beyond actually selling anything to you. WHATEVER QUESTION THEY ASK YOU....DO NOT SAY YES/CONFIRM/UM HMM/ OR ANYTHING OF THE SUCH. Reason being is, they have the ability to manipulate(edit) the call recording. (Stop/S****) So, if they try to verify your mailing address, they will ask you if it is correct. If you say "yes". They finish the call as usual. Although, nothing has been charge to my card. There was so****ing I cannot totally remember what you are actually authorizing them to do if you say yes to anything.

They have called me countless times.. I finally decided to answer and it was some guy trying to give a free $25 walmart gift card and I immediatly ***g up. I checked my bank account for the first time in 3 months and I notice 6 (SIX) unauthorized transactions regarding Easy Grant and Grant Finder ****.. a few for 39.95$ and a few for 1$ and also an unauthorized transaction from networkagenda.com for 9.95$.. i immediatly called the bank and filed several fraud claims and deactivated my card.. I am also closing that account and opening a new account at a different bank. Every time they call me I report a complaint on the national do no call registry. These guys need to be shut down.. and also if you are registered on the national do not call list you should write down the times that they have called with the date and take it to a small claims court for a lawsuit

OK. This piece of work called me today, after calling multiple times. When I answered the phone, w***ver was on the other line burped in my ear then ***g up. I called Trident International. (Their number is on their website) and got sent ot a complaince officer named Videl. He put me on hold and then the line disconnected. When Icalled back him and I got into a shouting match about the fact that he said I had humg up on him. I asked if I could talk to his boss. He said "I am the boss!" and ***g up a***n. I finally got to a woman named Tina Nash who told me that the original caller was being fired and that Videl was being dealt with. Call them and talk to Tina Nash. If enough people complain, they will quit!!!

This number had been calling me for several days, and when I picked up it was someone who told me I could claim a $25 WalMart gift card. Not only that but for some reason they have my mailing address and card number, and wanted to send me a trial version of the Liberty Fun Pass, and if I don't want it you have to call them to cancel it or else you'll get charged $19.95 a month. I had to really wrangle with the lady to tell her "NO, please remove me from the program, I do not want it." I didn't even get a confirmation that she'd remove me, she just said "Okay, have a nice day." I really hope that they will not be charging my card for anything.

Says he has the last 4 digits of my credit card (and does) and that he wants to award me a $25 AMEX gift card as a thankyou for buying so****ing on line within the past 12 months. I asked for the website of Raven Marketing and he hemmed and hawed and said he was new. I asked him to get me somebody who could answer my questions and he was suddenly in a different room. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MORE INFORMATION THAN THEY ALREADY HAVE. they can pick up your last four digits of your credit card from many places. They need the rest of your number + expiration date + the magic three digit code on the back of your card.

Called my home while my mother was there and told her that my recent online purchase qualified me for a $25 WalMart gift card. They told her they'd be sending it along with information about their "discount program" and that I could cancel as soon as I received the packet. My mom said she was not me and they said that's okay, they'd send me the gift card anyway and to let me know that they'd be charging my Visa that I used for my last online purchase. Luckilt the only Visa I own is my check card so I called my bank immediately and had my card cancelled. What a scam and they approved all this through someone who wasn't me!!

They call me s****ing at 8:00 in the morning and do so every hour to two hours until 9:00 at night. I thought it was a bill collector so I wasn't answering the phone. I did answer the phone a couple of times however and just got dead air and then a recording saying that "There was a problem with the connection but to stay on the line because the party wanted to reach me" but, I just ***g up because I figure if someone wants to talk to me, they'll be on the phone when I pick it up!! I bought a CD from a on line grant site. I bought the CD for under 2 dollars and the site said i had to cancel within the trail period to not get any more charges on my card so i did and no more charges occurred. But now I'm getting phone calls for a gift card for getting the CD which is somehow linked to raven media,i call the number 8665303502 they say trident marketing international so i opted to remove my number from there system.. There is a lot of complaints of scam from these companies so beware follow the instructions carefully and u will get out of there scams just fine..

I got a call about some $25 Walmart gift card that was supposedly free. Right away I knew better. NOTHING is free. I repeatedly told the obnoxious caller NO and that I had better not see any charges to my card. Saw them this morning and man was I pi**ed. I called my bank and had to have my card cancelled. They can't do anything about the charges yet because the tranactions are pending but they too are now onto this Bill WAUS guy AND ACCUDATA. This guy is making a fortune at our expense and the piece of sh*t needs to be stopped.

I have gotten literally dozens of phone calls from this number over the last week or so. 5 calls this morning alone with in a 2 hour period. I had tried to call the number back from my cell & was disconnected. I called the number from my home phone & a recording came on that said "If you would like to be removed from our call list please enter your number & it will be removed within 24 hours." I have had 15 calls from them since.. Can't we stop this?????

I received a call from this number on my work phone. When I answered there was no one on the line. I googled the number and found multiple complaints. So I called the number back and received a message with instructions on how to have my number removed from their list, which I did. We'll see if it works. Incidentally, I don't know if it's related, but two days ago I had an unauthorized internet charge on my debit card for $1.05 from Bill WAUS. Anyone else have the same connection?

This number is for Trident Marketing! They called my cell like ten times today! I answered it once, there was no one on the other end! I called the number back and got there Name, then the tell you to hit the # 2 key to have your number removed from there list. I did that and then they request you enter your 10 diget phone number and your number will be removed from there list within 24 hours, guess we will see what happens.

The woman on the phone claimed to be****ociated with American Express (whom I have also complained to) an she confirmed my phone number and mailing address. She said she was sending me a gift certificte and when I asked why? she would not xplain totally and told me to 'just look for the gift certificate in the mail'. These ****** a**holes have called me this morning on 6/7/08 at 9:29am, 10:07am, 10:24am, and 10:55am. But thats just this morning, 6/6/08 @ 10:08am was also another time that they have called, and they have called several times in the past month however my call log is full and I wont get a list of all calls until I get my statement. these people who ever they are have been calling my cell phone since feb. When returning the call, it gives you "Trident Marketing" and a way to remove your number from the list. Not sure if it is good to give your number though as this seems like some kind of scam. I have a cell phone receiving numerous calls from these idiots and no message when answered.

They stated that I had charged so****ing on a Visa card and they wanted to send me a $25.00 American Express card and two brochures at $1.95 each to examine. The card they said I charged so****ing on has had a zero balance for some time.
