I finally answered after days of calls. Claims to be Citibank. Trouble is operator today said they are in the Philippines! Was calling on overdue payment. However, they are calling about a card that apparently was stollen and I already talked to fraud protection of Citi. So I don't know who is the REAL Citi ! Wow, this is like a mystery movie. Maybe my call to Citi fraud protection was also handled in Phil and they are really criminals getting new cards sent out to them, not customers? If I did not owe them so much, I would close account forever. Instead I do not use it. That way ALL charges, except interest. will be fraudulent. Not sure how to get around annual fee.

Well today I actually picked up the call from this number that has been calling for the past two weeks a few times a week..(859-283-8072) I picked up and this woman asked for my mother and her tone sounded odd so I asked "who are you" she said "Patti".. Then I asked "Does she know you?" Then she got rather hesitant.. Odd wouldn't you say? Then I asked "well is this a personal matter or a business matter?" She then replied... "Um well I wouldn't say either" I told her that if I don't know who the***** you are or my mother doesn't know who you are and you cant tell me at least what kind of business you have with her your not speaking with her and I said this sounds a bit strange and ***g up on her. I would suggest you all just avoid this strange number and it is probably is a bill collector or some strange con artist!

I have been receiving calls too! I never answered but after reading stuff online like this, i decided to answer to try and get them oof my back and see if I will gt someone. The first time, I got dead air, then the second time (same day) there was dead air for a couple seconds then a woman just said "JANE SMITH?" (pseudo-name), but I told her it was the wrong number. It did not sound professional so I dont trust these callers. I will not confirm my iden***y to any of these callers. I really do think it's a scam to get ur personal info. I also received calls from 505-797-6333 and 505-797-6327.I say if you answer and they ask for you, DON'T confirm your iden***y and just **** up!They are so annoying!

I don't know who these people are. They do not leave a message on the answering ma****e. The caller ID shows up Florence, KY. If they don't leave a message letting me know who they are, I'll block their call after the call has ended. I pick up the phone and dial *60 and listen to the instructions. It will tell you the call block is off but if you listen for a second more it tells you to press #01 if you want to block the call. As far as I know this is free. We haven't been charged. It's worth the trouble of not being harassed daily!

This phone number belongs to a collections agency. They are an independent collections agency that buys debts, and then tries to collect on those debts. However when they call you, they act like they are calling from the original organization to whom you supposedly owe money. I knew that they were lying to me when they call and said that they were Citi Cards, because I settled my debt with Citibank months ago, and I have a confirmation letter. This collections agency is just trying to trick me into giving them more money for no good reason. Yeah, F**K YOU collections A**HOLES.

This is Citicards calling. When you answer, a recorded message says to stay on the line for an "important message"; then no one comes on the line. Next, a message says "sorry for the delay, please stay on the line". At this point I ***g up; if you don't have someone ready to talk to me, then don't call.

Citibanks collections agency - they are trying to reach someone named "Pedro Gomez" - SINCE LAST AUGUST. Calls happen about every 1-2 weeks. Every time I explain that this is the wrong number - they promise they will take it off their list, but the calls NEVER STOP. I do not know what to do.
