I did a reverse search and learned that's indeed Citibank. We have been called numerous times daily 7 days a week from early morning to late at night,only to answer and have silence or the sound of someone ****ing up. I called Citi & they are****ociated with Florence KY which displays on my caller I.D. It's unimaginable that Citi is contected with this practice with serves no purpose and leaves their card holders no clue of why the calls are occuring, harassed, and their lives disrupted. I notified Citi that I was paying any remaining balance, cancelling my card, and having my 2 children (both attorneys)look into the matter in determining if any consumer laws are being violated.

They have been calling our house several times a day and we have been ignoring them. Today, they woke me from a sound sleep, so I answered. They asked for my wife by name, but I told them she was not available. I asked if there was any message and was told no, they would just call back. I asked if they could tell me the nature of the call and they said no. I told them we would continue to ignore them unless they told me and they still refused. This has to be some kind of spam. We are on the National Do Not Call list and they call anyway. I am now going to block the number.

It is a SCAM. They call repeatedly & **** up so that you will call back. Once you do, they ask for your name, number & account info. Don't give it! All the posters who say this number is Citibank are part of the fraud. Maybe it's "CITY" Bank calling, but is certainly not the Citibank we all know. I've made calls to my Attorney General, Citibank & reported this number to the National Do Not Call Registry. You should do the same. There is an investigation underway. The more of us who report this number, the more likely it is to get SHUT DOWN.

Still am uncomfortable with this and believe it is the collection agency part of the company. As I don't carry any unpaid credit cards I don't know why I was called in the first place. I made the mistake of giving all my info to them and wish I hadn't been so ****** about it. I am going to put a fraud alert on my credit report and have c****ed my acct. #'s. Hopefully, nothing will come of this and it is really legit.

These people harass old people who have perfect credit and no late payments. I'm sure they are scammers phishing. I've heard that these scammers get their****es flamed sometimes by disgruntled ex-employees who will sometimes put these peoples real life names and addresses in the open. We have been getting several calls a day for the last month from this number in Florence KY. We've been on the no call list here in NY for long time. Yes****ay, called the no-call list dept and left a complaint also did with the NYS Attorney General's office. Then found that the carrier of phone number is Cincinnati Bell so called their nuisance number 513-397-7366 and reported it only to be told they are not the carrier of 859-283-8071. So****ing strange here as several places I checked on the internet says they are. Never having any business with Citibank at all I did call them yes****ay at 1-800-627-3999 and spoke with a representative who could not let me know if they have been calling my but did fill out one of their no-call lists so I would not be called by them if I was prior. 30 days for this to take effect. Also called the KY Attorney General at 1888-432-9257 and gave up there with all the menus etc. If anyone ever does find a solution to this **** please post it. Bill

This many phone calls each day with no one on the other end is harrassment, no matter the reason for the calls. If there was a legitimate reason, they would identify themselves. The fact that they attempt to hide who they are stinks of laws being broken.

This is a collection agency. If they're calling you it's because you have an overdue bill. If they are calling on behalf of a citi card bill they ID themselves as citi bank, the same foe for AT&T, Home Depot, or any one else they represent. The solution to get them to stop calling IMMEDIATELY is simple, pay your bills.

Citicards. After annoying my wife with calls and no messages for days. Turns out this is an outsourced calling center from India. Both men and women called, but did not communicate with her, and left no voice mails. She verified they were real by having them give details of her last payment and other transactions.Think they need to supervise and train these people more to communicate with customers. Calling multiple times a day and not talking or leaving a message creates a poor impression.S****s when you are behind on your bill.

As I read the comments it states that this is from CitiBank. I have a CitiBank card, however, I the number they call is my work. THey never leave a message and never call my personal number. I don't answer personal calls at work. They call any where from 5 to 10 times a day and this blocks my actual work related calls from coming through. COMPLETELY inappr******!
