I have found that if you are extremely ****** to these people they will take you off their list. You must repeatedly take the call and speak vile things to them but they will remove you from the list. After 15 -20 of these calls I no longer receive them and they have had to endure some rather ******y descriptive vocalizations.I realize this is a rather immature and unsettling even uncomfortable manner for many to talk but it really does work. especially for these tricky ones that continue to work around the do not call list.

They have called 5 times. Each time stating they are not selling anything they want to give me $1,200 in free home security equipment and installation. I would only then be responsible for the monthly monitoring fee. Which in fact would be selling me so****ing. Each time we told them to remove our number and not call a***n and they keep calling.

I just signed up for comcast digital voice, and like the others before me here, s****ed getting tons of telemarketing calls. I got 7 calls just today, and Spectracom was one of them. I called that phone number given by pen state above, dialed ext.23 for Pat & got her voicemail. Her voicemail does state that if we are calling to remove our number from their calling list, to leave our # in the message and she will make sure it gets removed. I hope this works!!!

Just got a call at 8:45PM EST from this number. I called back and got a recording that it was past business hours at this Spectracom. I'm posting b/c I've gotten at least 2 calls now from them since we got a Verizon land line, not anything to do with Comcast.Prior to this we had Vonage (which was great - we could just save $ with Verizon) and NEVER got any telemarketing calls! ****s to be back in this world.
(856) 382-3018 - June 16th, 2010 4:00am
I signed up for Verizon Fios and I've been getting calls from this number. I even had my number c****ed recently because I thought I was given a number that was used before, but they got my new number somehow. This is ridiculous!!!!
(856) 382-3018 - January 21st, 2010 5:00am
Just called Pat and she said the person that I spoke with today actually took me off the list. Let's cross our fingers and hope for the best!

i just called the number, asked for ext. 23 and spoke to this "pat" who was confused how I got her number. told her it was all over a website blog, which seemed to surprise her. gave her my # and she said she'd take it off. we'll see, but I encourage you all to call Pat. she seemed slightly annoyed (welcome to the club, sister!!!) so give Pat a call - or several... :-)Thanks to Pen State for figuring this out!!!

Keep Getting calls from 856-382-3018. They are Spectracom Inc. a company that sells technology to security companies. Their number is (856)910-9880. You ask for extension 23 (Pat's office) or just to be taken off of their list and they will transfer you. Leave a message and they say they will take you off of their list and they apologize for any trouble that they have caused you. I just tried this and I think that it will work.
(856) 382-3018 - March 22nd, 2009 4:00am
Same story as you guys. The call often comes right after I use the phone. Verizon must be signaling these mouth-breathers the phone was used i.e. I am home. Just happened on a Sunday afternoon. The government no call list seemed to help a lot at my last number, though some losers still call. I never pickup. I've picked up accidently twice when expecting ACTUAL calls, but immediately **** up.
(856) 382-3018 - May 23rd, 2009 4:00am
They get calling me and calling me, too. I called the number on the weekend. They said they were closed. I went through the phone directory to leave a message on someone's voicemail and low and behold, I got a real person! They want to sell you home security. Tell them to take you off the list.
(856) 382-3018 - June 23rd, 2009 4:00am
I also just got Comcast services hooked up and s****ed getting these calls. I do not think that Comcast should sell our info to other companies. They call several times a day. They have called as late as 9 pm, which is just rude for telemarketers.
(856) 382-3018 - November 4th, 2009 5:00am
I just moved to the area and had Comcast digital voice installed and have begun receiving calls from 856-382-3018. I called them back to learn thier offices were closed but this was minutes after they called me and before 5:30pm eastern time. Odd.
(856) 382-3018 - December 15th, 2009 5:00am
I called Pat at extension 23 and she claimed to have removed me from the system. She typed my name into her computer system to confirm my information. It is worth a try.

Switched to Comcast from Verizon and s****ed getting calls from Camden NJ number the next day. One time they were pit****g a free security system and that they would be in my town the next day and "would that be a good time for you". When I declined he asked "why would you turn down a free system"? How annoying. I'm tempted to cancel and go with a cell phone as my main phone. I don't seem to get these calls on my cell - am I just lucky or is there a reason for that?
(856) 382-3018 - March 8th, 2008 5:00am
Extremely annoying telemarketer that insists they are exempt from "DO NOT CALL". When you block them, they s**** calling you from another number. Extremely obnoxious, call at all hours day and night, very rude. Don't know how they stay in business and why would they keep calling when they know you've blocked their other numbers and are not interested in whatever garbage they are selling? Everytime they call with a new number, I just add it to my blocked numbers list. Wish there was a way to prosecute these idiots.
(856) 382-3018 - July 13th, 2008 4:00am
They call all the time, every time I come home I have at least three missed calls from them. I also just got Comcast Digital Voice and as soon as my phone was active they s****ed calling. I put my number on the do not call list and yet they are still calling. Called the number back and I got a message saying they are closed for the weekend even though I am still getting calls from them whe they are supposed to be "closed".
(856) 382-3018 - December 30th, 2008 5:00am
I'm tired of needing to get a house phone and getting tons of telemarketers within a few days. I put my name on the do not call list and it doesn't seem to matter. I don't get good enough cell reception in my house and now I'm stuck with idiots trying to sell me stuff. I wish there was a another way to block them since they don't come up as private.
(856) 382-3018 - December 16th, 2008 5:00am
no they won't they will continue to call...if you call them and **** up trust me your not bothering them i'm sure....they are prob. used to it by now..best bet is to call back and nicely ask one of the front desk people to remove you. worked for me. haven't had a call from them since.
(856) 382-3018 - November 11th, 2008 5:00am
Telemarking call from Guardme Security in NJ. Their 800 # is 800 235 0644. Just call the company like 10-20 times when you are bored and simply waste their time. Enough people call ... they will get the message.
