Same experience, I received two messages today from a Barclay card security to call 8559560445 or my account is on hold. I don't have a Barclay card, but I called the number it won't take a credit card # nor it will allow me to skip to speak to a rep. I called my bank, and there is no hold on my account. This is a scam.

Same experience as those below..... If you provided a credit card number, best to report it to your credit card company........

Same as the rest. An automated voice claims to be Barclaycard and asks to call back with 16-digit credit card number before going any further. I don't have such a card and it is unusual for a system to insist on credit card information without being able to skip ahead to speak to a rep. They are phishing for info. I didn't give any. But wish I checked before calling back. Do not EVER give out info about anything without authentication. Remember they called you and have the burden of proof before you do.

Caller says there has been a hold placed on your account, to call the number and verify card use. The call does not open with who is calling, so you may think the call is real. I did not, since I don't have a Barclays Card and did not call back. By calling back, they can trace your number and will begin asking information. Do Not Call The Number. The folks are scammers. Report to the FCC.
