This is a TruAccord, a debt collector. Instead of paying the full balance, you can accept an offer: https://sm.true.ac/4hhti61.

Received an email from "amazon", the sender's email address is actually [email protected] advising I had purchased a large screen for $6618.93 and to call to report fraud if I hadn't made the purchase. All fake, obviously a scam. I didn't even bother to call. DON'T fall for it.

Says it is Amazon Fraud Team about an email I received that I had purchased a smart TV, which of course I did not. Email address came from From: [email protected] which as you can see it is not an Amazon address.

Said I purchased a tv and an Xbox one along with some warranty. All of which was just over 6 grand. Doesn’t look like a real amazon email address.

Same as the rest. An automated voice claims to be Barclaycard and asks to call back with 16-digit credit card number before going any further. I don't have such a card and it is unusual for a system to insist on credit card information without being able to skip ahead to speak to a rep. They are phishing for info. I didn't give any. But wish I checked before calling back. Do not EVER give out info about anything without authentication. Remember they called you and have the burden of proof before you do.

Caller says there has been a hold placed on your account, to call the number and verify card use. The call does not open with who is calling, so you may think the call is real. I did not, since I don't have a Barclays Card and did not call back. By calling back, they can trace your number and will begin asking information. Do Not Call The Number. The folks are scammers. Report to the FCC.
