they call my cell phone every day, let it ring once or twice, and **** up before I can answer; I tried calling back and was told they were a debt recovery service; they said they were looking for "Mike." No one by that name here. Told them to remove my number from their call list.

If I get a call from a number I don't know, and they don't leave a voicemail, I don't call them back, simple as that.
(855) 727-1692
Not Spam! They are looking to collect a debt. I got a call today and they did not leave a msg. I called back and it turns out they were looking for someone else. (wrong # wrong person). I know it can be annoying to get these calls and I post any # I find out to be spam scam. In this case they are looking for a person for a possible debt owed. Don't get too frustrated w/ them just find out who they are looking for and try to help clear up the misinformation. Most of the time these #'s are scam spam but NOT this one. I don't know who they are collecting for but I read somewhere it could be DirectTV I don't have DT...never have had DT so I knew they were making a mistake. I spoke with them and told them they were misinformed. Also it's useful to post info you gathered about the # rather than the amount of times they call bc it helps those who do get the countless calls who and why they are calling. If you owe the debt then that's one thing, If u don't and they keep calling, then report them. If you can block the # do so. For me I cannot on my phone so I record the # and add it to Guru with a special ringtone to let me know its a spam scam then I ignore it. Believe me, I get 3-5 a wk and I have done everything to stop these calls but they just get thru. I got one "unknown" at midnight the other day and it was spam scam. However, in this case, this #is not. Hope this info helps someone.
