They have called daily for 3 or more months. I am either not "available" or let it go through voicemail. They never leave a message. Ignore them.

They call several times a day from several different 847-994 numbers. They never leave a message. The caller ID says Portfolio Recovery****ociates. A friend of mines said that they called him 18 times in a row and when he finally did talk to someone they were very rude. They told him that he owe $500 in a loan but refuse to say for which company. He requested that they send this in writing with the creditors name and account number (this is the law) and they said that they couldn't do it. So he told them he couldn't pay them. They threaten to send the police out to his home and have him arrested and he told them to go ahead and do so. They got mad and said they were serious if he didn't pay his debt and he told them to go ahead send the police out. They ***g up. Of course they didn't send any police out. Don't pay them any money if they can't send you in writing who the creditor is and the account number!!

I have received up to 8 calls a day usually s****ing about 7:45 EST, they are ****, leave no message just a nuisance. Like we have nothing better to do but to answer their phone calls. I did repost this to the Attorney General’s office and was told you can now file a consumer abuse suite with them. Also write a note to the phone company and report ALL nuisance calls. Especially ones that you try to block and they keep going around the block with different numbers. You can only block so many numbers and they know this. Report all the numbers most are OUT OF SERVICE numbers if you try to redial them.
