As far as I can tell, these are all the same company.  Allied Acceptance:  AKA****et Acceptance, AKA Apollo Group, AKA First National Collection Bureau, AKA Midland Credit...who knows what other names & phone numbers they are using. So far area codes are: 845, 425 & 775. They buy very old, uncollectible debt, paid or not, & hound you with threats to ruin your credit, sue you, etc., but refuse to provide proof or stop the harassment no matter what action you take to stop them.  More than one representative has admitted to me that they know they're breaking the law.  Why isn't there a law to force them to prove to the credit reporting agencies that the debt is legitimate before they can add it to your credit report.  I've wasted more time trying to clean up my credit after the insane, unwarranted, illegal, vicious damage they've done. They even have the nerve to add it to your credit report if your name just sounds similar to the person who actually owns the debt. The best advise I can give is DON'T EVEN PICK UP THE PHONE, don't speak to them, DON'T ADMIT ANYTHING (THEY CAN S**** THE SOL CLOCK A***N),don't even have your name on your answering ma****e. Once they connect your name with your number, it snow***** out of control from one agency to several. Good luck, you'll need it.

I have been receiving calls from this number on my cell phone.  They say they are a debt collector on the message, which I know is a***nst FDCPA.  That is what s****ed my search on this number.  Now that I am seeing all that is out there on this number I will definitely never answer when they call me.  I have had credit problems in the past, but have worked hard to clear it up.  I don't need this company jacking things up a***n.

This company called and the return ID said "AACC" and this number.  I have no knowledge of this company - Took a friend's cell phone and called them back - a recorded message said "Allied Acceptance" and I ***g up.  I have nothing to do with this company.  I will not be answering their calls and they are now blocked.

Called me in the Cayman Islands.  I answered, asked if they wanted to leave a message, they quickly said no, they would call back later.  Looked up number on internet, call came from New York, also looked up****et Acceptance and when you click on locations, they have no offices in New York.

Automated call.  It said "this message is for  .... ...., by continuing to listen I am acknowledging I am  .....   ......I have never heard this persons name (.....  .......) and have had this phone number for 10 years.It requested a call back from this person.

I know noone in New York so why does this NY # call me?  I dont answer ANY calls from unidentified callers for security reasons.

Unwanted call.  I'm on the Do Not Call list and shouldn't be getting these calls.

Calling me on my cell phone which is on the do no call list.

They called me every name in the book except for a woman.

missed Call on my cell, did not leave a message.

They leave no message when the answering ma****e picks up.

calls three four times a week, no one there
