I received a call and voicemail from this number who stated they were with a law firm representing a collection agency that was hired by Chase bank. Long story short, they expected thousands of dollars or would take me to court for the amount, and I’d also pay for their legal fees. I was sure I’d never had an account with Chase, and confirmed that when I called Chase. THE SCARY PART? Whoever this is, they have an incredibly lengthy and accurate list of my information. Even said my grandmother’s name as a co-signer, which she’s been deceased for a decade. Knew the spending limit on the couple cards of mine he referenced as ‘proof’ of their legitimacy.
