A recording saying they have sent numerous mailings to my address and this would be their final attempt before closing the file and offering me my chance to lower my credit card amount. After listening to this recording I was given options. Pressing 1 did transfer me to a live person. He understands that I would like to lower my credit card debt today... does he??? I explained to him that; #1 I just moved to my address a week ago and just received my phone number a week ago also, so of course no one has called me before and no one has mailed me anything here! #2 I don't have nor have I ever in the past owned any credit cards so therefore I don't have and credit card debt to lower! So please take my number off your calling list and do not call me anymore!!! His reply... rudely put, "Well that would have been option 3 and you wouldn't even have to speak with me!" and he ***g up on me. LOL
(832) 703-7064 - January 22nd, 2011 5:00am
My 12 year old daughter received the call on her cell phone... I answered since it was unknown. It s****ed in with the recorded message about my credit card and it being my final notice... very threatening sound. When I pressed 1 to talk to a "friendly operator", "Brittany" answered and I told her I needed to be removed from their call list now. She said "Absolutely not. You need to learn how to ask for things in a nice way and you might get them. Have a good day." And ***g up. It was clearly a telemarketing call to consolidate your credit cards at a low interest rate. I am calling the Attorney General in my state to complain.
(832) 703-7064 - January 22nd, 2011 5:00am
They called me. It's misleading to use language like "your final courtesy call before we close the file on your end of a credit card account with you"--(cut & paste from Google Voice voicemail transcription). That's blatantly dishonest, and probably illegal according to those consumer protection laws in California. They're trying to make you think, "Oh sh#$, they're closing my account!," when it's actually just a telemarketing sales pitch for a ****** debt consolidation racket. Also, my number's on the federal DNC list. Who are these guys? Anyone got an address where I can send the small claims complaint?
(832) 703-7064 - January 21st, 2011 5:00am
They just called me. And so i answered it. Listened to the message about needing to lower so****ing and so****ing. And then it said press 1 if you would like to talk to a friendly****ociate. Pressed one and they made a commment about me wanting to lower my interest rate, and so i said i didnt even own a credit card, and then in a low creepy, monotone voice it goes "you don't even qualify". It was creepy as*****! I think personally its a scam

This number-832-703-7064- called my cell - I didn't recognize it so I didn't answer. I got home & did the reverse lookup...which brought me here to this website. I am not surprised to see others complain about this unknown number. I dialed it and have repeatedly gotten a busy signal. Intellus & PeopleSearch say that, for a fee, they will tell me more about the number but frankly, I am not spending 5 bucks to find out it's some telemarketers!
(832) 703-7064 - January 19th, 2011 5:00am
This is a telemarketing call from a fraudulent marketing agency. They answer and then identify themselves as "Account Representatives" calling about lower credit card rates (despite the fact that I have never had a credit card). They call incessantly, despite being told never to call me a***n. I have no idea how they got my number, but when I tell them that their number is listed as fraudulent on several websites they get very rude then **** up.
(832) 703-7064 - January 20th, 2011 5:00am
Next time they call you answer it and then just go along with them and act interested. Tell them you are in a hurry and will call them back. Have them give you their number. Then you will have their number and you can report them. Or fell free to call them back as much as they call you.
(832) 703-7064 - January 21st, 2011 5:00am
Yeah I got a call from this number at 5pm I had missed it but as a rule of thumb I never answer numbers I don't know, they didn't leave a message. I might save this number for if they call me back, you know f with them a bit
(832) 703-7064 - January 21st, 2011 5:00am
Just got the call myself, in the middle of class. Needless to say I was aggravated, as I'm on the DNC list and everyone who has my number legitimately knows to call me during the evenings only. I'm glad I didn't slip out to answer it.
(832) 703-7064 - January 22nd, 2011 5:00am
Just got a call from them. Listened to the recorded spiel and then a few seconds after it said "press 1 to speak with a friendly customer service representative" it disconnected the call. I didn't press 1, just wanted to see what would happen. LAME!
(832) 703-7064 - January 21st, 2011 5:00am
Just received a call from this # and I chose option 1 to speak to a representative. Didn't get his name but I said I'm not interested in his product but very interested in how he got my number. He immediately ***g up.
(832) 703-7064 - January 21st, 2011 5:00am
They say "Card Member Services" and say that they have sent many notices to my residence...yah right. And that this is the final notice. I think they want people to get scared and talk to them.
