Actually, a scammer. Older sounding guy running an ad on Craiglist for a rental, or sublet, home in Santa Cruz, CA. The only way to respond was via text, then once he had my number, he almost convinced me he was legit. But he wouldn't give me more than Dave as a name, give me the address, or arrange for me to meet with his "friend" to show me the place, as that would have been too stressful for the person. He only took payment via PayPal, Zelle, or cash card. Dont be fooled that he sounds old. It's a con.
