Texted me to ask if I wanted to meet to play golf this weekend at some golf course. I didn't answer at first, then said "you've got the wrong number." They apologized. I deleted and reported at spam/junk. They messaged again asking where I live after saying they looked up my phone number and saw what state I lived in. I didn't answer and blocked the number on my cell service. I checked here and saw it doesn't belong to anyone, so assuming it's a scammer. Beware.
I received a text from this number from someone calling themselves "Samantha" asking for a quote for car repair. When I replied that I had no idea what they were talking about, I got the usual nonsense "I hope I didn't disturb you" which is a common way to check if a number is active. Then they hijack it. I hope this doesn't happen.
This person text me last night asking my thoughts on the recent conflict with Iran and the uncertainty of whether it will get worse. No idea who this is so guessing they are just looking for live numbers to spam.

I believe this actual number can have multiple owners and is used by an app that allows you to buy multiple numbers for as long you'd like based on needs to act as a burner phone number.
Not sure if telemarketer. But has high potential for scam. Received a text message from a “Lauren”, a Talent Acquisition Mgr, who wishes to discuss an intriguing role with you.
I fell this is a close friend that is trying to contact me through a burner phone. they did not give their name and ask just general questions.
