Received an unsolicited text to my do not call listed phone from Alex at homebuyers America claiming that I had reached out about refinancing. This is a fault statement. violation of the telephone violation of the Texas deceptive trade practices act to claim that I had asked for information when you knew or should’ve known it wasn’t true. Violation of the telephone consumer protection act to text without prior informed written consent. This company and companies like them openly violate the law. Rather than doing business with them, we need to pursue class action enforcement and encourage the government to shut them down as well.
